Two's a Party, but Three is apparently a Crowd. // know-thy-place [closed]
[November was a month of unpleasant memories. A time in which she had found herself seeking comfort in solitude, a decision that had not been made since the early days of her existence. Right now, however, the silence and closure that came with knowing she was safe for another day was welcoming enough. But simply shuffling through the Twisted Shopping District, making home once again in the Liquor Store, did not hold the same effect it did in earlier days. The Queen, as she now considered herself, no longer felt at home with the endless bottles scattered about. There was no longer a reason to submerge herself with intoxication. No longer a reason to find amusement in the forgotten memories of Konishi that lingered throughout. This place was barren.
It was cold. It was nothing.
She didn't want to be here anymore.
Despite the courage it took to pry herself from the dark corners, she was on her way. Back to the place she had hoped she still belonged to. Since her sudden take of absence, and his lack of attempts to retrieve her, the Queen grew worried. Had he... had he decided to forget about her?
Or was it an attempt to allow her time to herself?
Whatever it may be, she wanted nothing of it. Which is why with what careful instincts she possessed, the Shadow tiptoed her way through endless passageways to His Domain. The only place where she now sought and found protection in many forms, whether it be physical or emotional. She wanted home more than anything right now, but was unable to face Him.
She was unable to face her King. Her Lover. Her fiancee.]
A-At another time. I just need to get back to my room before he takes notice of my presence. And if Sou's around, he'll be the fucking blabbermouth...
[Talking more to herself than anything, she avoided any type of shapeless blob that roamed nearby the path taken-- so close to the door. So. Close.]
[She took an intake of breath, silently opening the door.]
