I just realized that knowledge capsules might still be usable after the akasha system is shut down. You probably just need the physical terminal to read them, but not for the terminal to be connected to the larger system--the internet, if you will. The capsules are like discs or flashdrives. If this is the case, Cyno's story quest actually still makes sense post archon quest. Maybe more sense, even, since it's kind of weird for the traveler to be casually walking around the Akademiya between parts 4 and 5 of the archon quest.
