Do you ever get so deep in learning/science and you like just can’t fathom all the knowledge you’re being exposed to because it’s like making so much sense and blowing your mind and you just start crying and yelling or is that just me?

i pity the fool who faces an ocean of knowledge and doesn't dare to swim in it.
Thank you so much for your post on project 2025. It is something to keep an eye out for, but it is not federal law and would likely take MULTIPLE bills to even come close to total fruition. I feel like people don't realize that and your post does such a good job of putting it into perspective. Thank you. And we should write more smut to spite the people who wrote it lmao /j
Lmao this is from like a month ago but I forget to check my asks I’m sorry 😳
I hope that at the very least my post gets ppl asking questions and looking where info comes from. Seeing the ease with which misinformation and disinformation is spread on any platform is disturbing, (like that bs study on how black plastic in spatulas is gonna kill us all that went viral a few weeks back and is total garbage).
N I’m not gonna b the asshole who’s like “omg media literacy is dead” because I don’t think it is, I just think it’s a lot harder to be literate in todays media environment. It’s actively discouraged on certain sites (cough cough twitter cough)!!
I could go on many rants on this subject, but I would encourage yall who are able to check out the book calling bullshit: the art of skepticism in a data-driven world and its associated website because while not perfect, it helps debunk some common “black boxes” of data science and shit in an understandable way (I have dyscalculia so this is high praise coming from me lol)
And while I’m monologuing; donate to Wikipedia!! It’s such a resource and is so good for getting a decent footing in a subject. The references linked at the bottom of articles are a treasure trove of info. Having it as a (semi) accessible resource is a huge deal!!
Ok spiel over, thanks for listening, I’m so glad you found my post valuable, and WRITE ALL THE SMUT IN THE WORLD BB LET EVERYBODY F*CK *
*while respectfully allowing my asexual homies to chill n watch bill n ted’s excellent adventure
Its insane how wrong Africans are about African-Americans. I was born and raised in Africa (Liberia to be more specific) and all I heard about Blacks in America was that they were lazy and didn't know how to take advantage of the "opportunities" in this "great country". I came to America at age 13 and after 9 years in this Country I am finally noticing that these are just lies and propaganda told to my people by the same people who stole, rape and murder their Ancestors.
