Knox didn't want trouble. They didn't want Jack to be jealous or upset, they didn't want Teddy to be confused, but above everything else, they didn't want this beautiful makeup to go to waste. Theodore Robshaw had outdone himself with this makeover, and Knox had never felt so... feminine. A feeling that once filled them with disgust and fear was now synonymous with beautiful. No, they couldn't tear up right now! They agreed to be friends, and friends keep their promises.

"Claudio said they love my dress, make-up, and hair, and I said you were my stylist for today," they said with pride when Knox finally bumped into Teddy. "To be honest, I don't think anyone has recognized me!"

One second they were laughing, greeting each other, and complimenting each other's outfits, and the next, Knox was hypnotized because something unusual caught their attention.

Mesmerized, Knox watched the colorful cars rushing from one scary loop into another, up and down. They'd never seen anything like it, not to mention standing so close to it. It had to be safe if people allowed their kids to ride some of those, even though some looked far from something a sane person would want to try out. Luckily, Knox was not sane, pretty fearless, and boundlessly curious.

They reminded Knox so much of the cars from The Fifth Element...

"Have you ever been on, like, one of those?"
