Modern AU Inosuke not knowing how to confess he likes you because he has no romantic experience. He doesn’t even know how to ask Tanjiro or Zenitsu for advice! Sometimes he’ll come up to you with a fistful of weeds, sweat dripping down his forehead while he stares at you. He would probably say something like, “I saw these and thought of you!” to which you’re confused because they’re weeds- but then you realize he picked all the ones similar to flowers. Little dandelions, purple dead nettle, and Queen Anne’s Lace. It’s a really sweet gesture and you accept them because you realize he’s trying to win your heart.. Funny to think he won it well before bringing you the bundle of flowery plants.

He’s also probably the type to get all defensive/prideful when you take them and ask what the occasion is; you like to tease him! “Wh-! It’s nothin’! Can’t a guy pick stuff and give ‘em to people?” Or “Haha! Of course you like ‘em! I only find the best!”
