One time when I was like 4 years old, my dad was making my older brother, my twin sister, and me lunch while our mom was at work.  My sister was whining about something and my dad, annoyed, asked, "Would you like me to give you a knuckle sandwich?" And she was like, "Yes," because she didn't know what it was.

Obviously, my dad wouldn't actually punch her, so he made her a sandwich.  A sandwich with just bread, Miracle Whip, and cheese. 

She believed this was a "knuckle sandwich" for, like, a year.
