Put a “>///>” in the askbox for the reaction to my character waking up beside yours after a night of passion
To wake in a strange place was hardly an uncommon practice anymore. If anything, it had become a sort of routine that all too often went hand-in-hand with his chosen profession. One of the perks, he believed, more times than not. So when Nori finally chose to open his eyes, far later in the morning than he would have preferred, he thought little of it at first. Only when a deep, sleepy mumble sounded at his back, so very close to his ear, did the memory of that night prior come flooding back. Every bitter word tossed back and forth ignited the tension that constantly lingered between them, ending first in desperate blows that gradually turned to a more fevered touch and before he knew it, Nori was off his feet, back sealed to the wall with both legs wrapped tightly around…
Right, he did not have to peer over his shoulder to know just who that tempting warmth belonged to. Between the memory itself, and the rough, tattooed hands still holding him close said all he needed to know.
His efforts proved effective, as with a bit of coaxing, the grip around him loosened, allowing the smaller dwarf to slide from the hold, and off the bed itself. With a grunt for his troubles, as it seemed he was still rather stiff and sore from that previous night. A shame he wouldn’t couldn’t stick around, as despite his tension and twinges of pain every now and again, he’d rather enjoy a repeat of those activities.
But to stick around would not bode well for either of them; of that, Nori was certain. This was a one-time deal, brought on with all the pent up frustration and anger they had caused one another. That thought in mind, it should be so very easy to just walk away. How many times before had he been able to do it without a single thought of question—and yet he found himself pausing long before he could walk out that door.
Nori wanted a repeat—and so a repeat, he would have.
A smirk playing across his lips, a mere whisper echoed in the dark, spoken over his shoulder before he dared to take his leave. A promise, plain and simple.
