Knuckles…
Every time I always remember Knuckles is the last of his kind and tribe… it makes me sad. Bc when he dies, it all goes down with him! Everything gone!! Also random I wanna tie this with how native culture is dying too, going extinct. I remember reading a newspaper the last person who spoke a native language passed away.. making that language extinct. It can be learned but we’re losing its old language.
Even though in the Archie Knuckles isn’t actually the last and there’s more echidnas there.. idk if Sega rn will bring back new echidna characters (WE ARE FORGETTING HE MARRIED HIS COUSIN.)
Knuckles is just my absolute favorite aughhhh I always wanna do his character right! if anyone mentioned “well he can just marry” and it could be Rouge… but let’s be honest. We haven’t gotten a true Knuckled and Rouge interaction in a while sigh… so I kinda doubt.
plus, I lowkey HC Rouge isn’t a settle down gal, while Knuckles seems also hesitant to settle down. He wants it with the right person who’ll be there for him. Why do I also wanna hc Knuckles feels like he’s slowly forgetting his tradition… his culture 💔💔
