The youngest child of Knuckles and Shadow, Dusk cannot speak normally and for most of his life didn't have a way to communicate. Recently he learned to speak telepathically- His third eye opens and 'scans' a person to form a connection and then he can speak in their head freely. Dusk is able to link with multiple people at once.
Despite the overwhelming amount of chaos energy in his body, Dusk cannot wear Inhibitor rings or he loses his ability to communicate, he and his family have been learning sign language to ease this barrier.
Because he doesn't wear Inhibitor rings, Dusk is prone to fainting randomly as the energy grows and wanes. Dusk will pick at his fur on his hands and feet out of anxiety which is why they're often bandaged, and he usually has Mr. Rabbit to help soothe him.
He has an older sister, Kiks, and an older sibling, Mari.
