what’s your favorite thing about Knuxilver? I kinda like the ship but it’s abit niche for me
There are many things that are interesting about them ! I feel like there are so many good reasons to pair them up even just platonically, it's criminal to me that they've barely interacted in canon.
The biggest and most obvious draw for me is Silv's fascination with history and Knux's abundance of it. Lots of potential that I hope is explored in canon sometime.

Silver and Knuckles pick each other right back up and make each other get back on their feet after they get knocked flat on their butts by monstrously powerful attacks. In a very "You tough right?" type of way.
Both of them are the type of people to walk it off, no matter how bad things get for them. And they both know each other well enough by now that they each expect that attitude from the other too.
They'll help each other stand by back and keep each other fighting, but they don't offer much tenderness or any coddling.
Silver and Knuckles both minimize their own physical pain or emotional distress. They grew up alone licking their own wounds.
They're used to having to keep moving forward and toughing it out. They feed into those old habits when they work together, for better or worse.
