"My heart feels like... it’s breaking...” He buried his face into Ameharu’s fur, quietly sniffling.
“This book is very sad.”

It was perhaps not so well known that Leo quite enjoyed exploring. After all, he spent most of his days cooped up inside a library or his apartment, reading primarily and paying no attention to anything else. But while the worlds in books excited him, the world around him held some intriguing things too, and once in a while he would venture out just to see what he could find. He was famed for knowing many secrets, and not all these secrets could be found in books.
So, for this reason, the dark-haired boy wound up in the middle of town, wandering various streets and alleyways. Koi was a large city but his brilliant mind was able to keep track of the various shortcuts and niches, which would surely come in useful one day when... hm. He couldn’t think of a reason why. He was so used to being chased, but that didn’t happen in this place.
As he was wondering down another alleyway, he was surprised to see that it led to a dead end. How unfortunate. He turned to backtrack, but... ah. It seemed that he was stuck.
A van had pulled up at the entrance to the alleyway and trapped him inside. When Leo tried to peer into the driver’s window, it seemed that the culprit had already gone. Ah.
Just as he was about to think his way out of it, he noticed someone else stood nearby, also trapped with him in the narrow dead-end path. Well, might as well strike up a conversation if they were going to be stuck together for however long.
“What a pickle we’ve got ourselves in, eh?” Leo chirped, finding the situation more amusing than frustrating. After all, he had nowhere to be. “I guess we’re stuck here for a while! Maybe this is fate. Such stereotypical trope scenarios don’t happen without reason.”
“Why is my roommate such an infuriating bum...” He sighed as he laid on the tree branch. “I’m tired of taking care of him.”
Vi was sucking on a banana that was dipped in chocolate and frozen to be a frozen banana treat. She leaned back on the bench, enjoying the treat. Well it was a Valentine’s Day snack that was being sold on the streets, nothing wrong with trying it. The chocolate was good and it was sure cold. Though she had a feeling she was being stared at, so she bit down on the treat and chewed on it, swallowing what she bit off.
A new bed, a new room, a new view of sunlight shinning through a window frame. What is this? She awoke in a new room, unsure of the world around her. But, it felt comfortable. No feelings of anxiety finding ways into her mind. It was a new house, but it felt like she already knew that this was her place to stay. The girl got up slowly from the bed, rubbing her sleepy eyes and slowly taking in the world around her.
After awhile of getting ready, finding her clothes already in her closet and her personal things all nearby, Mary left to see the rest. Once reaching the door of the apartment building, leading to the outside world, a stranger was blocking the way. It seemed that they absent mindlessly didn't notice the small girl trying to get through, and her voice a bit to timid to ask for the other to move out of the way. She stared into the strangers eyes as they blocked the door, hoping they would notice her and her desire to pass.
☆彡 || The blonde sculptor wailed out in the public park, upon realization that his favorite chisel was missing.
“Oh, how unfortunate the beautiful me is today! How could this have happened for me to lose my beloved tool?!”
“Could it be that this is a punishment for my beauty?! Oh, what a sinful man I am!”
And he posed in agony and grief to the sky.
