Vi was just having a stroll but it looks like someone decided to stop her and well flirt with her. She looked at the guy that’s trying to do it, to be honest, flirting was funny to her. What this guy just said, she found it funny, cute too. ❝Good ta know that someone admits it.❞ She smirked, putting a hand on her hips and a finger under the guy’s chin. ❝Ya should put yer sunglasses back on, slick, because I’ll end up meltin’ from yer gaze.❞

    “How kind of you,” Ernest replied, and honestly, it was likely only the extensive experience he’d had with controlling his tone that kept it rather neutral rather than slightly barbed.  “Like it or not, most of those nobles actually have their own orders to follow.  We’re nobility, not rulers, but that doesn’t make us any less bound to those under our protection.”  The Nightray always had taken care of their own; it was one of their strengths, to be honest, not including the interlopers in their midst.

    “Masamune has served me faithfully through the years,” Sephiroth stated quietly, bringing the blade down again.  “It is a good blade.”  He watched quietly as she swapped her gauntlets, and in that moment, his eyes flashed a bright green, burning with mako.  A muscle in his face twitched as his sight was taken, the sensitivity of his eyes making it more painful than it would have been to an unenhanced.

    However, that hardly meant that he was deaf, and he fell back upon his training, wheeling easily and intercepting the fist with the blade again, Masamune shuddering in his hand but the longsword holding under the pressure just as it would under the force of the other two elite SOLDIERs.  “Better.”

She frowned for a moment when her attack was blocked, but she grinned once again as she gripped onto the blade with both hands. She managed to change one of her gauntlets into the shotgun ones. It was automatically loaded with large shotgun bullets and aimed at the other. ❝Say hello ta my lil’ friend.❞

She made sure to get a tight grip of his sword and she shot at him with her large bullets. There were good things about fighting in a arena for so long and it were the upgrades she’d get for each costume she’s made to wear.

His breathing was heavy and despite his ridiculous speed he was not able to successfully subdue her. She was no ordinary human, that much was certain. He had neglected to transform into his demonic form using his devil trigger, and yet perhaps underestimating the woman was not his best move. Certainly he had been able to keep up with her, but her skill was unparalleled among others he had faced in the past.

The battle had concluded with both of them on their backs on the ground, perhaps for the best. He found himself sore yet satisfied. Such feelings were only evoked following a good brawl. And yet he found himself a little disappointed that he had been unable to beat her. He huffed at her suggestion to call it a draw, though in reality he knew that’s what it had been. The area they had been fighting in had undergone some…creative renovation during their combat. The combination of a demonic hellsword capable of slicing through towers and the fists of fury the pink haired woman called weapons had made short work of the surrounding architecture.  “I learnt enough” he said, finally responding with words. “That was entertaining and I must say I underestimated you.” he looked over at her. “Your skills deserve recognition and yet even though I now know you, I have yet to know your name.” He stood up and brushed himself off a little. It was unlike him to be so polite though he valued power above all else and it was clear she had plenty. “I’m Vergil” he exclaimed proudly offering out his hand for a shake. “..This is a normal thing humans do upon meeting isn’t it?” he asked quaintly, second guessing himself for a moment.

She chuckled ❝Well when ya been fightin’ all yer life and battled against all kinds of monsters, it makes ya stronger.❞ She yanked her gauntlets off and sat up, grabbing his hand and shook it ❝Yeah, it’s a normal greetin’. Vi, nice ta meet ya, Vergil.❞ She grinned. ❝Also, got a nice name there. Suits ya.❞ She lets go of his hand, wondering why he kept saying humans and wasn’t really familiar with it.

She stood up, or at least tried to, but she ended up falling back on her ass ❝Ah shit..❞ She clicked her tongue and looked back up at Vergil ❝Just how nice are ya right now? Because there’s this favour I need of ya.❞

❝Because I might need ya ta carry me back ta my apartments. If yer not feelin’ too nice, it’s fine, I’ll just wait it out till I can get up.❞ Since that fight of their’s, it took a huge toll on her body and since its been a long time, it might not have remembered this much stress.

“It smells… great.” His sense of smell has come alive since he’s woken at Koi, and he couldn’t have been more grateful. It was a fascinating to feel the sensation in a different way. The human concept of eating food in shops, well, everything was new.

❝Right?❞ She walked over to the counter, ordering a dozen of doughnuts. She picked each different ones that they had and once she got what she wanted, she paid for it and walked over to a table. She sets the box down, opening it up and grabs a glazed doughnut. She took a bite of it ❝C’mon try some!❞

He accepted the unbruised banana, though before revealing the juicy treasure within, he listened to what Vi had to say, a small smile creeping across his face all the while. Accepting compliments wasn’t something he’d do openly, though he couldn’t deny their positive effect on his emotions. “I don’t require your judgement. My desire for power has little to do with creatures of this world. There is but one whom I must defeat…” he trailed off, looking away from his pink haired companion. His ultimate humiliation. He would not lose again to his brother. He would become the strongest and claim what was rightfully his. His knuckles had turned white from the pressure of his clenched fist and starkly contrasted the dark expression he wore upon his face.  “Regardless” he exclaimed, regaining composure in an instant in response to Vi’s suggestion. “I’m pleased you suggested as such. Questions are meaningless in the eyes of combat. I will learn more about you: your passions, your fears, your true self, in minutes of combat than I will in days of questioning.” His eyes were gleaming at this point, a smile spread across his face as he reached for the hilt of his sword. “I only ask one thing of you” he continued “ this may be a training spar but do not hold back. Come at me as if you intend to kill.” He paused for a moment enjoying the thick tension of the pre-combat atmosphere. “Well then. Shall we begin?”

Vi puts her bags aside, slipping her gauntlets back on. She grinned when the other told her to not hold back ❝Kill ya huh? This wouldn’t be the first.❞ She chuckled. She got low a bit, her hands forming a fist and her gauntlets started to charge up. Steam were coming out and some mechanics started to pump. She herself, had a bit of a light blue glow ❝This’ll be one hell of a trainin’..❞

She focused her energy on her fists and they started to glow a light blue colour. She then slammed her fist right into the ground, causing the concrete to raise up like spikes towards the other. While this was happening, she made sure to charge up the spikes and then leaped off it. She was above the other, with a big grin on her face, aiming to slam her fists down.

This was going to be fun.

What could be hours of sparing, Vi was already panting. She was short on mana already, having to use all of her abilities. She could see that the other was also tired too, so with one last ounce left, she charged towards him, making sure to block his attack and managed to pin him down.

She raised her fist as if she was gonna smash his face in, but she lowered it, rolling over next to him and she laughed ❝Ah, that was great! Guess we can call it a draw!❞ She slipped her gauntlets off and sat up, looking at the mess that they caused. ❝Oh boy I’m gonna get yelled at..❞ She shrugged and looked over at the other. ❝So, learned anythin’?❞ She leaned back on her hands, pulling the collar of her shirt multiple times as if to fan herself since it was hot.

Valentine’s Day was all about love, right? While her heart didn’t belong to someone – how boring – it did belong to something: chaos! Though, if it had to be related to someone, she loved playing with Vi! Getting on the nerves of Piltover’s finest was one of her favorite pastimes! There was no better way to express how much she loved wreaking havoc than replacing all of the love in people’s hearts with terror. Without a single thought, she had decided her plans for the day.

During her earlier canvas of the city, she had noticed something interesting. There was a carriage service in Koi’s central district. A brilliant idea popped into her mind, causing her signature, crazed smile to plaster itself on her face, rubbing her hands together in anticipation. This would be fun…

The city of Koi was as quiet as a bustling city could get: noisy, but calm. People went on with their day to day lives, others on dates with their significant others for the sappy holiday.

Well, today, the city of Koi was going to get Jinxed!

There was an eerie silence before everyone’s heads turned, faces paling in horror. Was that a herd of horses stampeding right through the streets? Of course it was. Sitting on the back of the leading stallion, Jinx was having the time of her life.

An all-too familiar voice sounded through the noise of bedlam as she rode past Vi’s bench as if the horse was some kind of rocket.

“YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAW!” She cackled manically, staring straight into the eyes of the former Piltover officer. “Ride ‘em, cowboy! Catch me if you can, FAT HANDS!”

And like that, she was gone.

It was peaceful, too peaceful and that means something’s up. Ever since that little stupid note that was left on her door, she knew that it won’t be able to be peaceful and she was damn right. The moment she heard that annoying insane voice, she growled.

She looked and soon made eye contact with the menace of Piltover, Jinx. She saw her ride pass her on the horse. She snarled hearing that annoying name and she tossed her treat aside. She got up, put on her gauntlets and started running after her.

❝JIIIINX!❞ She shouted the other’s name as she chased after her. She needed to catch up to that damn horse and she knew that running on foot won’t be enough. She looked around and grabbed a motorcycle ❝Gotta borrow, duty calls!❞ Luckily the key was still in and she started up the engine. She revved up the bike and soon wheeled off after the maniac.

It didn’t take long for her to catch up, she drove over to the side of the horse, grabbing the blue haired woman by the leg and yanked her off the horse and onto the ground. She stopped the bike and got off, walking over to the girl and cracking her mechanical knuckles.

❝I’m not gonna let ya escape this time, Jinx.❞

“Wh-what!?!?” he stammered, caught completely off guard. “What do you mean why’s that so hard to say?? We have barely even met; of course it’s hard to say!!”

“Snow White??” he blurted out, momentarily losing his composure.

“Y-you have no right to mock me, lady!” he shouted down the aisle, his voice cracking slightly. He wanted to just walk away. But he couldn’t. He told himself he wanted the banana but perhaps he actually wanted to get to know the mysterious pink haired lady? “Not possible” he thought to himself, dismissing the notion as he strode after her. The lady had already reached the checkout and though Vergil didn’t want to cause a scene the humiliation Vi had laid upon him was not something he took lightly. He finally caught up to her and the first thing he noticed were the battle hardened hands of a fighter that she possessed. Regardless, this was not the time to admire such things. “I have no desire to assimilate further into human culture” he shout whispered, making clear his tone while trying not to disturb the other customers. “You paying for them doesn’t solve my issues that i have to share a single banana…” he trailed off. “But…you’re right that I do want to get out of here.” He left his basket of other shopping items by the till and walked to the store exit. “So hurry it up.” he sighed with some acceptance, “I suppose I have no choice but to put off my planned training, but I have matters I want to ask you about and…I want my banana.”

The enforcer couldn’t help but laugh at how the other just lost his composure. Just hearing him shout at her and possibly cause attention towards himself was pretty damn funny.

She placed her items on the belt and apologized to the cashier for the bananas. She was willing to pay full price for it anyways. She was also listening to the other’s words, looking at him time to time to at least let him know she was listening. Once she checked out and paid, she grabbed her bags and stood out of the way for the other to check his items out.

❝Ask me anythin’.❞ She waited for him and then started leaving the store once he was done. Once out, she dug in her plastic bag and handed the unbruised banana. ❝Also ya train? Ya don’t look like ya need it. Just from how ya look and all, I say that yer already strong enough ta handle anyone. Like trolls and golems.❞ She stared at him for a moment and looked away.

❝I got an idea, how about, instead of screwin’ yer trainin’ how about I help ya train? I got my gauntlets with me already and I could use some stretchin’. It can make up fer the bananas I crushed.❞ She laughed. ❝Oh, by the way, name’s Vi.❞

Vi was sucking on a banana that was dipped in chocolate and frozen to be a frozen banana treat. She leaned back on the bench, enjoying the treat. Well it was a Valentine’s Day snack that was being sold on the streets, nothing wrong with trying it. The chocolate was good and it was sure cold. Though she had a feeling she was being stared at, so she bit down on the treat and chewed on it, swallowing what she bit off.

A crude, neon pink has been sprayed across Vi's apartment door, words scrawled in recently-dried paint: "I'LL SEE YA REEEEAAAAAL SOON, FAT HANDS!"

Vi had gotten back from shopping at the grocery stores and to think that things were going good. They weren’t.

She stared at her door that was vandalized. Her bags were dropped onto the floor and she grits her teeth. She knew who exactly wrote this, it was easy to tell. The ugly ass neon pink that annoyed her eyes, the shitty writing and of course, the annoying name. Only one person that she knew in her entire life, one crazy son of a bitch that could have done this.

❝Jinx.❞ She growled her name. She knew that it would be a matter of time till she was followed here. She knew that Jinx would soon find her here. Now here she is, making herself known and it was making Vi’s blood boil. Just the thought of that annoying voice, her annoying bright blue hair, her annoying laughter. The thought of her just making her life harder and the fact that she’ll end up causing havoc here. She wasn’t going to let her do that.

Vi had friends here, lots of them. If they were to get hurt because of that son of a bitch, she’ll end her life right there on the spot. She doesn’t care if she was partners in crime with her in the past, none of that mattered. Vi was a new person and she’ll do anything to make sure that crazy bitch doesn’t do jack shit here.

❝When I find that son of a bitch... when I catch her... I’m goin’ ta lock her ass up fer good.❞

At her words, Vergil’s eyes peered down at her large mechanical paws that held what remained of the banana bunch. They were certainly still edible, but it was unlikely that anything with strength less than that of a rock was wise to carry in those mitts. Several of the bananas had squished out under the pressure and others looked exceedingly bruised from the rough handling. Only one banana, the central one of the bunch, appeared to be almost entirely untouched, sheltered by it’s other banana kin who had given their value to save their middle companion.

“Unfortunately I think we’re beyond that point.” he stated firmly, eyes focused on the last survivor. “Your glove contraptions are clearly not built to handle fruit and now there is but one that remains. I think you know what that means.” Vergil’s hand was already placed firmly on the hilt of his sword, thought it was still sheathed. “This need not get violent… I don’t want to share one banana though… I’m not fully familiar with human customs but sharing a single banana…” he trailed off, a strange hint of embarrassment flashing across his face for but a moment. “I have yet to even properly meet you and you expect me to share a banana with you? Surely you jest, woman.”

❝Hmm..?❞ She looked at her hand and lets out a sigh. ❝Great.. Shouldn’t have worn my gauntlets..❞ She shrugged, placing the bananas in her basket ❝Oh c’mon, we can share it. I’ll treat ya ta somethin’ too just ta make up fer the banana. I’ll give ya the unbruised one.❞

❝If yer not familiar with human customs, go ahead and ask me whatever ya need ta know.❞ She did thought it was funny how the guy got really defensive over a banana. The others were still edible, but if the guy wanted the good one, she doesn’t mind giving it over.

❝I’ll pay fer the bananas.❞ She turned away from him and started walking to the cash registers ❝C’mon Snow White, if ya wanna get the hell out of here, just hurry it up.❞ She shook the hand that had banana remains on it and she took off her gauntlets, deciding to carry them.

@enforcervi “How humiliating” he thought to himself, as he took increasingly frustrated steps through the grocery store. The great demon prince had been brought down to the level of getting his food from the same location as any average human. Still, if he was going to live here he had no other choice and thus he swallowed his pride and went about his day like anyone else. The plan was to get in and out as quickly as possible. The demon prince looked down at his shopping list and fortunately for his sanity, only one item remained. He quickly made his way to the fruit aisle and found, to his relief, that a single bunch of bananas remained. He quickly reached out but before his very eyes another, more mechanical, hand got there first and swiped them. For but half a moment he stood there, dumbfounded and angered that another was walking away with his prize. “You!” he growled, just loud enough for the lady walking away with his bananas to hear him. “I hope you intend to return those to me. It would be most unfortunate for you if you didn’t.”

Vi was just doing her daily grocery shopping, well not really daily. She just stocked up whatever needed to be stocked up, hence why she’s out. She was just running low on few items, just a quick stop and well getting whatever she needed that was on sale too. Her basket wasn’t filled up and just as she was about to leave, she thought she should grab some fruits.

Heading to the fruit aisle, she wondered what should she get. She wasn’t in the mood for any apples or oranges, not even any cherries or strawberries. She kept walking and saw some bananas. There was only one left and it looked ripe enough to buy it.

She didn’t notice the other person wanting it, so she grabbed it, placed it in her basket and walked off. Well that’s when she heard someone yelling towards her.

She looked back to see some white haired guy just yelling at her for the bananas. She looked down at him and chuckled.

❝Dude it’s just bananas. If ya want it, we can share.❞
