Day 9 stsog

Omg I don’t know where to start! So this girl is a blessing in disguise. I ran 1.6 miles nonstop. Up and down hills on a trail none the less. She’s so awesome. She pushed me harder than I ever thought was possible for me. I wanted to give up, my legs burned, my throat stung, I cried and wanted to give up. She jogged right next to me and kept telling me I could do it, to breathe, she even breathed along with me. I finished feeling amazing, I could never have done this 6 months ago. So blessed for a new friend and so blessed for someone who knows how it feels to want to give up but keeps going. KO FamBam for the win. Rocking new challenges and creating new victories!!

Today was the Dole Great Race of Agoura and omg it was so much fun! My wonderful, amazing kickboxing studio had a group run and booth set up. In these pics are the amazing Coach Henry owner of KO Studio’s and the lovely Bryanne aka TK! I love my community and KO FamBam can’t wait to run the 5k in the Love Run in June!!!

NSV!

Kickboxing was insanely hard due to my foot injury and how much scar tissue had built up around the surgery site. I love my Studio and am blessed to be able to focus on cardio and weight training but I missed jumping in with my KO FamBam for kickboxing. Today 3 months later I decided to see how my foot would react in the class. I not only was able to do the class coached by the amazing Rossi, but I was able to do the entire 30 minutes without pain. My foot still felt like heat was radiating out of it but no pain! Due to my martial arts background I hated not being able to box. This is an insane NSV for me and I'm so excited to start slowly getting back into kickboxing.
