Because a lot of my muses, like myself, are Greek, and this week going into Easter is kind of a big deal, I thought I would post this article by Rita Wilson, Tom Hanks’ wife,  just as a general descriptor of what they do.  I know it’s come up in a few of my threads and figured people might possibly be interested in learning more.

Dean, Kobe, Paul & Valanti Headcanon

Though they will never mention it to people, Dean, Kobe, Paul, & Valanti, my Greek male muses, all grew up Greek Dancing.  In groups.  That had performances.

It was pretty much mandatory, and while they hated it growing up, it's admittedly had a positive impact on their rhythm through the years, and they always get extra attention at weddings because they have these skills.

Mikaela Sevastianos (Idina Menzel)

Kobe's mother is his hero. 

Seriously.  His dad is great and taught him a lot growing up, but if he was ever forced to take a side, he'd be on Mikaela's in a heartbeat.  Orphaned at a young age, Mikaela grew up in a foster home in New York City and was raised by a group of really awesome nuns.  She moved to Boston for school, and was a well known published author by the time she graduated.  Seriously though, super well known.  She had stalkers.  Bad ones who kidnapped her and did really super horrible things to her that she still has nightmares about to this day, but Kobe only knows about that because he may have read a journal entry or two while snooping through things when he was younger.

But yeah, Mikaela and her husband, Kobe's dad Jason, have been together for almost twenty-two years now, and every time they celebrate their anniversary they laugh about how fast time has gone by.  She's the mother of five children, four boys and one girl, and acts as a stand in mother for Jason's other four kids.

Yeah.

Mikaela and her husband are swingers, though not in the sense that they go out and look for random people to have sex with.  They're just... insatiable.  Kobe grew up in an open household where questions were answered as soon as they were asked and he was taught what was allowed to be shared at school and what needed to be a secret.  She never did anything in front of the kids (until they were old enough, and Kobe and Jason's son Paul became fuck buddies) and was the ever present cool mom who took care of not just her own children, but their friends as well. 

Sometimes it's hard for her.  For a really long time, Jason's other baby mamas, Kalli and Gina, lived with them and Mikaela dealt with her husband's attention being split between herself and other women, but he always made sure she knew she was his priority, and she's more in love with him today than she was twenty years ago.
