There's a place in #zurich like nothing I've ever seen before ... it's called #kochareal. I guess, it could be loosely described as an #outdoor #homelesscommunity living. Technically it's off limits to enter and visit. I decided to get in with my camera - hoping to blend in. Three different people tried to 'discourage' my intent. One asked me to take a solemn oath that I won't shoot any faces nor phone numbers that were visible on some doors. As I found myself walking through that enormous property, I was simultaneously filled with sadness and disbelief of what I saw... people living in makeshift dwellings inside a trailers or old, falling apart cars - in cold November weather... After taking about 50 photos I felt a strong urge to leave, to breath again the air of life on the other side of the fence. That #upsidedowncar #jalopy is attached to a top of a shipping container. I find it to be a #metaphor of how life can be experienced #unhinged ...
