My friend @dramaroksi suggested I start a segment called Movie Mondays. So I am going to start reviewing Book turned into Movie adaptations. Please tell me your thoughts on the book and movies I review. ******************************* First starting with my one of my favourite books of all times The D.U.F.F by Kody Kiplinger. Breathless, the first word that comes to mind when I think of this book. I love this book, it is one of those books I could reread over and over again. I like all of the characters and I think the story was well thought out and executed very well. I loved how somethings were left up to the reader but also had a sense finality to Wesley and Bianca's story. I recommend this book to everyone I know. Movie: The D.U.F.F This movie was nothing like the book. Now as a movie person this movie was good. It was not the greatest thing ever but in terms of humor and high school identity it was a solid 6. Now don't get me wrong I really liked this movie but it was amazing. Now as a movie adaptation review: WHAT THE HELL WAS THIS! You literally had the book and burned and from its ashes made a movie. Like their are some book adaptations that mess with the plot a little and it works. This movie made sure it was nothing like the books. Seriously why did you think this would be a good idea. I have never been so betrayed a book reader. For adaptation to big screen 0/10 #theduff #kodykiplinger #BookReview #MovieReview #Bookstagram
