After a good quantity of years, i finally got to wear this outfit! Since the release of the controversial KOF 12 in fact. Anyway, Athena was my first character in my first KOF game ( KOF 96) and this costume was a MUST for me! Its very veery simple, cute and comfy. Id like to make a lot more costumes of this character <3 (hope to make the kof 94 version someday)

Finally my Athena wig came! I'm really happy with it, needs a few details but nothing else, the color is perfect! (i'm cosplaying the version from KOF 12, there her hair is darker than in KOF 13) it's beaitiful *-*

Her KOF 12/13 look is well represented here. Man, why did they just make it black? The went from bright colors to just....black. They just made her look generic from an overall standpoint. Why not bring back the red and blue outfits? Its not like they ignored them, her NEO MAX super brings out her previous versions. Maybe its something with the KOF story, something i know absolutely nothing about. Either way, its a good thing her sprite has a magical look to with, with all the purple sparkles that generate just from her standing there.

Yes, that was a whole rant on a character's design. What? I REALLY like this character. She's my favorite character in all of the KOF games. Basic, but solid, with a little mix-up potential.

Anyway, this is a great picture that has more personality than her real KOF 12/13 portraits. Angry pout was not her usual self. She's always been more of a happy character. Sorry, i'll stop.
