fun fact I had the idea for this one at 6am, like obv i couldn't draw then so I doodled my idea on my phone

I read this comic yesterday; and by read I mean I put it through Google translate and did my best to guess what it was trying to say; but it was a short like 4 panel fluffy comic about Hiro and Kouji cuddling. Hiro steals Kouji's hoodie and is like "can I have this, it reminds me of you so I won't get lonely when you're gone" and Kouji gets like fake mad and calls him too dependant and takes it back. Yes!!!!! That's good stuff! That's how I see Kouji in my head really. He's super possessive of Hiro, and really enjoys Hiro's own possessiveness, but in the end Hiro's growth is his #1 goal. He might poke and prod him in the right direction but he's gonna make sure Hiro figures his own shit out. He pushes him away in California. He's a shoulder for him during the Kazuna Beat Climax but he refuses to actually get involved. And he doesn't think Hiro needs to be coddled when he gets lonely, he's a big boy he's gotta figure it out on his own and not get co dependant. Kouji hates Hiro's codependency.

I hope that makes sense, I love Kouji very much. 🥰

ColeyDoesThings posted a video on Soulmate AUs and it has me thinking about my two favorite boys:

Idea one is like imagine that Kouji but also Ito can their soulmates because of their red string of fate jump. Like what if the jump actually connected you with your soulmate, but only the person who did the jump could see. So Ito becomes aware that she's not actually connected with him from the get-go, but it doesn't bother her because they're young kids in love etc etc. But when Kouji first performs the jump he realizes that he's tied to Hiro; and has to deal with his feelings for him and Ito and it would be a whole angsty mess hehe

Then idea two is a pain sharing AU where it's hinted that the two of them are soulmates because when they practiced together in middle school if one would fall the other would feel it etc. but like they were just 7th grade boys they weren't thinking about soulmates and it didn't stick in their memory, but then when Hiro loses his battle with Kazuki, Kouji who's watching from the sidelines also feels the slash to Hiro's pride and makes the connection that they're soulmates. But like that fight is when Kouji was still mad at Hiro so Kouji would have to gather his feelings and figure himself out while Hiro has no idea and and I mean things sure work out in the end. What if while Kouji was in America Hiro was frustratedly banging his head against a wall or scratching himself or something and Kouji was stuck in America in pain and unable to comfort him
