If you're watching the feeds, you may have forgotten that these people are competing in a game where they have to plot, strategize, and sabotage their fellow contestants. A camera was damaged and all the housemates are being punished until the culprit(s) is identified. Despite this being an opportune time to turn the house against other players, Jordan and Sindy are once again playing "Find the Tonsils," this time in the Have Not Room, Kevin's dancing in the HoH bathroom, and The Kohnny/Pilar "love triangle" is bodily pinning Brittnee down in the backyard. Is this what BB16 would have been like without Derrick there to direct things?
Seriously STOP comparing Kohnny to Zankie
The good thing Kevin is doing is consistently checking in with Johnny to make sure the meaningless flirting is OK with him. He did that clearly and frankly multiple times.

That’s not only a good thing, but it also makes it blatantly clear that there is no actual romance potential at all on either side. Johnny has been told clearly by Kevin that there is no potential, so if he falls for Kevin anyway, he at least knows the score in advance and knows there’s no possibility of his feelings ever being requited. That removes almost all of the angst. That makes it just another crush the likes of which we ALL get on people every day. It wouldn’t be a case of confusion over whether the person he developed a crush on could possibly like him back or not. That’s even IF he ever develops a real crush on Kevin.
He and Kevin have communicated CLEARLY with each other that the flirting is just innocent flirting and Kevin has said point blank that he is straight with no exceptions and he wants to be sure that the flirting is OK with Johnny. There is NO COMPARISON HERE to zankie. None.
We’ve seen Zach’s character. He truly cares about people and is constantly willing to deface himself in order to make someone else feel better. He checks in on and corrects every single thing he’s ever said to be sure it doesn’t offend anyone. He always does whatever it takes to make sure someone else is happy and comfortable in his presence. Always.
If Zach were “just flirting” with Frankie it would have looked like flirting. It didn’t. It looked like someone who was completely compelled to gaze at someone and be close to them all the time while constantly trying to resist but not being able to.
If Zach had no feelings for Frankie and they were in situations in the house where Frankie could get the wrong impression, there is no doubt in my mind that Zach would have spoken clearly and frankly to let him know that he had no feelings and never would, just so that Frankie would not get the wrong impression. That’s how Zach is.
The reason he couldn’t say that is because it wasn’t true. Zach had feelings for Frankie (whatever they were) and he couldn’t talk about THAT in front of cameras so that every single person he’s ever known would see it on national television. No person would ever talk in front of cameras where every single person in their life would see them talking about their sexuality in a way that they haven’t been able to talk to any of those people about in person and in private previously. No one would. NO ONE.
It takes a village, I guess, but little Johnny's Kohnny birthday wish came true. God bless us, everyone.
