Made this blog and then immediately hit a depressive episode that made it hard to draw, whoops Still working on recovering from it unfortunately

But! Here's a couple of next gens I designed a few months ago! I do have a whole thing planned, but these two are the only ones with a solid design at the moment because big projects are hard

Dawn Glow is the daughter of Queen Twilight and Sunset Shimmer. She's the guardian of the Crystal Mirror, which serves as a portal to the human world, and carries a shard of it around to ensure that she is the only one that uses it.

Dusk Haze (they/he) is the son of Princess Luna and Stygian. They are the Keeper of Prophecies, and are able to conjure up a magic room where you live out your prophecy, similar to their mother's dreamwalking ability. He is blind as a result of lingering effects of his parents' respective corrupted states. He is also the guardian of the Staff of Sacanas, formerly wielded by the Storm King.

I do not have solid designs for other members of the next gen yet, but maybe I'll be able to circle back to this project someday when I have more energy lmao

Other ships featured in this next-gen are Fluttercord, Celestia and Sombra, Apple Jack/Rainbow Dash/Vapor Trail polyship, Rarity and Coco Pommel, Starlight and Trixie, and Pinkie with Cheese Sandwich. All of the next gens have names and some sort of vague concept idea behind them, just...struggling to get the motivation to actually design them, haha

I had to send my laptop in for repairs and got it back a couple of weeks ago, and been in a weird art funk since...BUT I'M BACK WITH A REDRAW

so, this is a ship i have with my gf - tang [left] and soot [right] (soot belongs to my gf). these two have such a special place in my heart, since they're actually the oc pairing i initially bonded with my gf through, all the way back in like 2015-2016. just like us, these two have gone through and grown so much over the years.

this is the old version from all the way back in 2017. i'm so, so immensely proud of how far i've come, both with my artwork, and the person that i've become - and my partner is a big reason why i am who i am today

hiya, welcome to my art blog! my name is koa, and i primarily draw mlp ocs (mainly my own, but also friends' characters). sometimes i'll draw canon characters, but that's fairly rare. i'm 23, go by they/them pronouns, and i'm in a committed relationship with the most wonderful girl in the world.

i know this blog is primarily for pony art, HOWEVER

i just finished finally designing a fursona that i actually connect to and im so happy with how they turned out, how could i NOT share?

meet kit! they're a puppy! i don't really have much info about them since they're literally just me LMAO. my hair isn't colored like this irl, but if i had the money and time and energy for maintenance and upkeep, i think i would want my hair to look like this...and i want to get top surgery someday, too

i am an incredibly emotional person, and my emotions are a big part of who i am, so i wanted that in the design somehow. of course, there's a wider range of emotion than just happiness, sadness, affection, and anger - but those are the base four emotions that i feel a lot of mine branch off of, and so any other emotion's colors will be influenced by which category they fit in (for me, at least)

(some of) my main ocs

these are the characters that i will simply never shut up about <33

eva - my ponysona! she's a weird dog unicorn creature...who can also summon magical wings. cringe is dead and i killed it with my bare hooves

tang - my main of mains. she's been my primary main oc since 2016 or so, and she's changed a lot since she first came into existence all those years ago. she's multiship, but i only ship her with my closest, most trusted friends. her canon form is humanoid actually, but she'll most often be appearing as a pony since...well, i just draw ponies.

maya - my dragon pony! i really don't know what to say about her, just that she's SO MUCH fun to draw. she's another character that's actually a humanoid, but again...can only draw ponies. but she's my beloved and so so much fun to draw, along with her partner, rook (who belongs to my best friend)

muriel - a more recent mlp oc! she's a siren that decorates herself with body paint mixed with bioluminescent algae.
