Some detail on the gutter spitters / gargoyles of the Koln Cathedral. I wonder who it was that the stonemasons took a dislike to?
Inside Koln Cathedral. Again, impossible to do it justice. After the extraordinary detail and decoration on the exterior, the interior was almost simple. See how small the organ looks. I’m guessing this is not a small organ!
Some detail from the front entrance to the Koln Cathedral. Some of the boys have recently had a bit of a wash. The intricacy and detail in the carving is stunning.
