SUDDEN TADANO CAMEO! Weird but sure why not. Also while I hear my Dumb Shipping Heart complaining about “WHY DIDNT HE APPROACH HER!?!?!!?” I guess he saw how anxious she was so prefered to let her be. That’s nice of him in my opinion...
... then again he is sometimes an idiot so who really know why he does what he does xD
Also that last panel, pose and comment by him TOTALLY make me see why he was a Chuuni not so long ago...
Have a minor accident from 3 chapters ago where I was gonna end the liveblog but then I kept reading and here we are...
Session 13 will be remembered as the most accidental flow of episodes done unintentionally. Sadly I lost motivation in livebloggin for a while but I dont wanted to fully give up! And now im feeling a bit better and hopefully the next sessions will be a bit more orderly (doubt it but we will see).
ANYWAY, what did we saw? A LOT ACTUALLY!
We meet Airi and Karisu. Beautiful Beauticians that dealt with Komi-san’s need of a haircut. Karisu was familiar so had no trouble and Airi learned there’s all kinds of people in the world.
We started volume 3 with an anxiety filled Komi-san that while full of insecurities, seems to have Tadano as a grounding point (also I tried to get intoo the groove of writing again but didnt go very well)
We went to the school’s library for a game of “How much can Najimi get people to react before she is taken away” (plus Najimi’s gender conversation from here on out has been deemed “there’s no conclusion”)
We begin the summer break and My Dumb Shipping Heart loses it in how this lovable goofballs react to wanting to call each other and meeting each other and... pretty much most if not all of their interactions :P
We go to the pool and a small party becomes a whole trip thanks to the flippin Yandere... I also stop this chapter in a place that leads to an interesting conversation about Najimi (again)
Komi-san gets a not so severe but still painful injury and hates herself thinking she ruined the day but as usual Tadano is there to reassure her (plus Najimi DOES care for her friends, despite she prefers to tease them first)
And we finish off with Komi-san going to the library and giving a baby (and Tadano... and the audience) a pure smile.
All in all? A fun group of situations and the summer isnt over so I’m eager to see what MORE shenanigans will come... eventually.

And to finish the session... something I cant actually see myself yet... but if all goes well? we will see each other tomorrow :D

And is in moments like this I have to remember Komi-san does IN FACT have a mouth.
But given she sometimes is hard to read (and sometimes looks more funny) we dont see it, so we really arent seeing what kind of smile is she giving to the kid, but seems to be effective since he...
he... he... oh boy
I dont think is as bad as some smiles I’ve seen in anime (or terrifying edits I have seen too) but seriously... what is up with Komi-san’s smile!?!?!?!?!?!
“Oh no I killed someone with my stare... AGAIN!” - Komi-san in a few years, when she learns to take this with more humor.
But in the now she is trying to think of what to do to calm the kid before he gets permanent trauma (overexaggeration? me? NAH)
Komi-san opted for the Nana Shimura Approach: hold her smile with her fingers. Probably to make sure it doesnt go weird and to show some playfulness in it all... and apparently it works!
The kid finally stopped shaking... and now the shaky shakes got back to our lovely anxiety filled Komi-san who is seeing the kid leave the place and...

okay I have 3 more words: IT GOT BETTER!
This brings an interesting question actually: what does Komi-san LIKES? besides Tadano I mean, actual hobbies or things she enjoys? I dont expect to be anything WEIRD (Agari covered that and still hunts me to this day) is just the curiosity of what is there beyond the communication disaster that is Komi-san. (and yes she likes cat... but she is one to so...)
Anywa she is so calm and peaceful reading her book... man she is pretty isnt she? So while I DEFINITELY understand the WHY...I still have to say:
STOP STARING AT KOMI-SAN LIKE SHE WAS A MANNEQUIN OR A MOVIE STAR! YES SHE IS AMAZING BUT YOU MAKE HER VERY UNCOMFORTABLE AND SOME IN PARTICULAR ARE TAKING THIS SHIT TOO FAR! (TALKING TO YOU KNNELING A-HOLE!!!

Chapter 41! One before the mandatory Hitchhiker’s GUide to The Galaxy joke!
We begin with Miss Forever 17 adressing Komi-san... wait... I just realized something... ITS THE FREAKKIN POINT OF VIEW WHAT DENIES US KOMI-SAN ACTUALLY NORMALLY INTERACTING WITH HER FAMILY!!!!!
I mean I doubt she would use the notebook to tell her mom she is going to the library so she just said it like normal... but given Komi-san is the protagonist we end up starting FROM the moment right after so we dont see Komi-san in a different position than we’re used to... I’ve had on my mind “who controls the narrative” since last night so this hit me right in the spot... interesting tbh.
And now that she said what needed, Komi-san returns to her usual state of “gentle nod”

...
My paranoic brain keeps asking this: “If Komi-san has a communication disorder... why are her parent so nonchalant about it?????”
