All reviews are my own personal opinion. I will do my best to be as constructive and helpful as I can be. If there is something I believe you can improve, I will let you know. Feel free to message me if there is anything you want clarified. Please like or reblog once you have read the review.

URL: I don’t watch The 100, but I’m assuming it’s a reference to the show. If I’m right, this means that fans will be able to recognize this as a canon roleplay. However, it may confuse non-fans, and that can make your roleplay less appealing to a wide audience.

Theme: This is a very simple theme and it works incredibly well as a main page, in my opinion. It is readable and easy to use, and nothing is especially distracting or overly flashy. The color scheme is a bit dull and I think using such a bright green might distract from what seems to be a relatively dark roleplay. You also really need a trigger warning on the main for the skeleton in your sidebar image.

Navigation: You have all the main page links I like to see and they stay in place when I scroll. However, I’d suggest actually labeling your navigation link a bit more clearly, since it is so important and you don’t want anyone getting confused. The navigation page isn’t really broken up like other roleplay navigations that I’ve seen, and that is nice. However, you should include rules, characters, plot, etc on the navigation page.

Plot: I think that given this is a canon roleplay, your sidebar doesn’t do a bad job of explaining what is going on. even though I don’t watch the show or understand all the terms in the sidebar, I have an okay idea of what is going on. Your plot works well as an overview, but not really a plot, if that makes sense. It more reads like something that would be linked at the bottom of a plot page, as a “more information” sort of thing. There’s a lot of details and explanation here, but not much of a plot beyond “all the tribes are trying to work together”. I think combining the political standings and overview sections might work the best to make a more cohesive plot.

Biographies: While I sort of get how you’ve organized this character page, I would really like to see something that makes it easier to find open and closed characters by their different tribes or something. While I understand allowing things like gender and faceclaims to be boradly up to player, I would suggest making some characters explicitly PoC, trans, non-binary, and body diverse. On your roster, using “masculine”, “feminine”, and “flexible” as genders is incredibly problematic, as those are adjectives, not genders. You need to change that. Otherwise, I really like these biographies, as they do build characters for your applicants. One other thing confuses me, though. Why do open characters get biographies, while closed characters get skeletons? It seems a bit counter-intuitive.

Graphics: I think these graphics work incredibly well for the vibe that you are going for. I don’t know what font you are using, but it works so well, as it gives me this weird modern and wild and futuristic vibe.

Rules/Application: Normally, I hate age limits in roleplays, but I think if you have to do it, making it 18+ is a really smart idea from a legal standpoint. Overall, these rules are really blowing me away, especially your triggers rule. I’ve never seen a roleplay ban non-con sexual content, and now I’m inspired to do the same in all the blogs I run. Also, using a safe word of sorts is such a great idea, because I know from experience that what can start as OOC joking can sometimes get a bit wild. In the application, I would suggest including something about activity in words and a space for people to privately share their triggers. Again, still confused why the applicants go from biography to skeleton, but that’s just me. I get it’s semi-appless, but it just feels a bit weird.

Admins: There are occasionally spammy posts on the main, but even they are a bit helpful, like that personality test you just posted. I’m not a huge fan of admin mascots; consider just using a signature rather than slapping a GIF onto the ends of posts.

Anything Else: No.

Would I Recommend: I am so close to recommending, but the terms you use for gender are making me uncomfortable. Switch them, and I would love to recommend you!
