the lovely and all around wonderful @tisaqueen and @anewbeginningagain tagged me in this thing, so here it is! <3
1. When you were little, what did you think you’d be when you grew up? Did your reality (or your future plans) come close to that?
I’ve wanted to be a French teacher since I was 6 years old and quite literally 2 decades later, I have realized this dream and it makes me a very very happy camper.
2. Do you think of yourself as an urban, suburban, or rural person?
I’m definitely more of an urban person, but not a giant city. I like Halifax and the size, I like that I can walk from one end of the city to the other in about an hour. I can see myself wanting to back to the country when I’m older, but for now I’m a city gal.
3. Do you decorate with carefully matched pieces, or are you eclectic?
Eclectic, I’m very spontaneous when it comes to stuff like that, I do like having a thread of similarity to make sure there is method in the madness.
4. Are you the photographer of your group/family, or do you always want to be in the photos?
Neither?
5. Do your thoughts come to you in words (like conversations with yourself) or pictures (abstract, ideas, visions)?
I think its mostly words, although when I heard music I usually process it through movement over thinking about it.
6. Do you have changing weather seasons where you live, or a relatively continuous climate? Do you wish you lived in the opposite?
Oh, there are very very changing weather seasons here on the east coast of Canada. Even just today, it has been sunny, now its cloudy, and at some point it will snow and maybe also rain later today.
I love having changing seasons, it reminds me that change is natural. I would get bored of the same weather all the time.
7. When you don’t have obligations, what is your ideal, natural time to get up? To go to bed?
I like getting up before I feel like the day is already over, so any time between 7am-9am I am happy with and I like to go to bed before midnight for sure, and I try to shoot for around 11pm.
8. Do you cook? Bake? Or do you prefer to have someone else to that?
I love love love both cooking and baking, its a wonderful way to be creative, listen to music, enjoy time by yourself or with others, and make the most out of a human necessity for living.
9. Which way do you put your toilet paper? Up and over so it hangs in front? Or dangling below? Does it bother you if it’s done the other way?
Up and over so it hangs in the front because it feels natural and I don’t have a cat (sadly) to cause any mischief.
10. If you had a lot of money, what would be the first selfish, frivolous thing you would do with it? (Not for other people, not for practical purposes, but fun and just because you want to.)
The first thing I would do would be to travel, Scotland, Thailand, Korea, Burundi, etc. Then I would go on a shopping spree and actually start dressing the way my gay heart has always desired I dress.
This was fun!
I’m gonna tag these wonderful people, no pressure in doing this: @lerayon @neon-wartooth @lesbiancristinayang @the-cimmerians @seacoloredeyes @lepetitepeach
