A Gintama episode a day keeps the ending away…Episode 137
Episode Title: 99% Of Men Aren't Confident In Confessing Their Love and People Who Don't Believe In Santa Are The Very Ones Who Want To Believe, You Contentious Bastard
MY 13 FAVORITE MOMENTS IN EPISODE 137 (no manga equivalent):
The anime team goes rogue again, and while I commend their efforts, I have to say that I’m relieved none of it is ultimately canon, especially considering what happens by the end of the first part.
1) The lengths by which Sacchan would go to in order to get Gin-chan’s attention. She also must’ve paid off that sales clerk very well cuz that chick didn’t react at ALL to the fact that she had a human-sized cake on display.
A Gintama episode a day keeps the ending away...Episode 62
MY 10 FAVORITE MOMENTS IN EPISODE 62 (manga chapter 98):
Such a cute episode: a nice, light dessert after the feast that was the Benizakura Arc. I also loved the recap of the arc at the begging of the episode, set to Shura, one of my favorite credits songs in the series (love DOES).
1) I think I would want to hurl too. I love Hijikata, his mayo obsession and all, so I would just be sick in private when he’s not around.
2) The PoT gang making a cameo. Ahh, the nostalgia.
3) Of the interviews Ryomazaki conducted in order to investigate Gin-chan, these two were my faves.
4) Gintoki being a responsible adult. I loved that in the first live action, they basically had Tae-chan do a version of this scene except they took out the hentai part.
5) The anime team made it much more obvious where Yamazaki’s peephole was situated.
6) Dear brave Yamazaki...always putting his life on the line for his job.
7) I loved Shinpachi’s totally whatevs attitude in this episode. He’s so over everything.
8) Poor Gintoki.
9) These guys are bad for Gin-chan’s health and their own.
10) If the last thing one sees is The Queen’s face before one dies from being skewered by a shit ton of sharpened bamboo shoots, that can’t be a completely bad thing.
SHIPS TALLY:
Gintoki x Hijikata: obviously Hijikata is thinking about Gintoki 24/7 so he had to send Yamazaki on his “mission” to investigate him.
Kondou x Otae: a) I thought it was cute that Tae-chan renovated her whole house because of Kondou, and b) I agree with him...her fort-house seems to be designed with the intention to lock her stalker inside with her.
Gintoki x Sacchan: obsessed devoted as always.
Gintoki x Otae: sure, her methods are a bit on the violent side and her “cooking” is...well, anyway, but she means well and she obviously cares about him and that’s what’s most important.
Kondou x Sacchan: it would’ve been such a funny twist if they just started making out. I would’ve been totally for it, even though it would’ve been a total betrayal to my ships for them.
Disclaimer: Gintama is not only about shipping. Gintama is hilarious, clever, exciting, poignant, heart-breaking, loving, brilliant, and just completely unbelievably amazing. It is only due to Sorachi-sama’s immense generosity that I am able enjoy Gintama on an extra another level, the shippy level, and I am forever grateful for that. GINTAMA IS LIFE AND LOVE.

A Gintama episode a day keeps the ending away...Episode 88
Episode Title: The Most Exciting Part Of A Group Date Is Before It Starts
MY 15 FAVORITE MOMENTS IN EPISODE 88 (manga chaps 138 and 139):
One of my faves because it’s so hilarious and cute!
1) Kyuu-chan is sunshine.
A Gintama chapter a day keeps the ending away...Lesson 476
MY 15 FAVORITE MOMENTS IN LESSON 476:
I wish this arc could have lasted another 70 chapters, rather than just 7 chapters. It was over way too soon. Sadness.
Moment 1: Awww, Pachi-kun is such a sweet and devoted subordinate.
Moment 2: Kagura’s hair ornaments on Zura and Sougo’s hair on Elizabeth: that is enough for me to love.
Moment 3: I actually thought Kozenigata had somehow jumped into the fray because there is no logical rhyme or reason how the combo of Yamazaki and Madao would produce THAT kind of ‘roided up monstrosity.
Moment 4: I think they’re both great leaders, in their own unique, different, rigid, and lazy ways.
Moment 5: I LOVE IT when they team up!! YoroShinsenJouiOniwa4Ever!!
Moment 6: I was just so touched by how everyone was working together, giving it their all because they so fervently wanted to return their leaders to their original bodies.
Moment 7: Loved this because Tae-chan looked so cute in Shinpachi glasses and she had a mean throw.
Moment 8: Any time I see the two of them working together, I love.
Moment 9: Their reactions to where Gin-chan’s soul came out from Dozaemon pretty much mirrored mine.
Moment 10: If I ever got the opportunity to meet Sorachi-sama in person, once I recover from passing out, one of the questions I would definitely want to ask him about is why with all the poop all the time??
Moment 11: I hope they had many more “dates” on the bridge after this event. I just love this view.
Moment 12: Seeing them getting back to their vices in their own bodies gave me a bittersweet feeling because I loved their soul-switching so much.
Moment 13: Can they BE any cuter??? I died.
Moment 14: Kagura is still adorable as a walking pile of shit.
Moment 15: A better question would have been, why didn’t these morons CLEAN THEMSELVES OFF BEFORE STEPPING INTO THE MACHINES?? Still, even though I’m not fond of scatalogical humor, I did enjoy this “shitty” ending to such a wonderful arc.
SHIPS TALLY:
Gintoki x Hijikata: This whole arc seemed like just such a lovely dream and I wish I never had to wake up from it. But seriously, I truly think this experience of inhabiting each others’ bodies and literally walking in each others’s shoes for a time really pushed them even closer together. I’m not even talking about the shippy aspect, but just as two people coming to really understand each other as human beings and the appreciation that comes with that understanding.
Okita x Kagura, Zura x Elizabeth, Zura x Kagura, Okita x Elizabeth: the first two is because they are always shippable when they’re together, and the second two is because they were inhabiting each others bodies, and again, you can’t get any more intimate than that.
Kondou x Otae: because Tae-chan finally saw through Shinpachi to the Kondou inside, and because Kondou is always into Tae-chan.
Gintoki x Hijikata x Otae: I can’t of course jump on this 3P ship but I think a good case can be made for it since Tae-chan seemed really concerned for BOTH of them.
Gintoki x Sacchan: her jealousy is always proportional to her obsession with him.
Shinpachi x Otae: I don’t think he could ever get closer to his sister than literally sitting on her face.
Gintoki x Shinpachi: same reasoning applies as stated above.
Hasegawa x Yamazaki: they melded together into one big shit unit...they’re canon as far as I’m concerned.
Gintoki x Kagura: I mean, technically, she grabbed Gintoki’s balls. I know, gross, but I gotta still count it.
Kondou x Shinpachi, Sacchan x Kondou: they were occupying each others bodies...same refrain as before: that’s freaking intimate.
Disclaimer: Gintama is not only about shipping. Gintama is hilarious, clever, exciting, poignant, heart-breaking, loving, brilliant, and just so freaking amazing. It is only due to Sorachi-sama’s generosity that I can enjoy Gintama on yet another level, the shippy level, and I am forever grateful for that. GINTAMA IS LIFE AND LOVE.

Konsa claims Emery proper to name Aston Villa gamers lazy
Aston Villa defender Ezri Konsa has admitted that Unai Emery was justified in his damning evaluation of the workforce’s efficiency throughout their 1-1 draw with Sunderland final weekend. Once we conceded, we…
Report, outcome, highlights as Villa cling on regardless of Konsa pink card
Ten-man Aston Villa held Newcastle to a 0-0 draw of their opening recreation of the Premier League season regardless of Ezri Konsa’s second-half pink card. The Magpies have been the higher aspect for a lot of the encounter at Villa Park, going shut by way of Anthony Elanga, Anthony Gordon and Harvey Barnes however have been unable to make their dominance, and the additional man, pay. The sport’s…
Black is the colour Villa wore first before transitioning into the famous claret and blue.
Villa were the first team in the UK to put a crest on their shirts in 1878, and the badge on the anniversary shirt is in tribute to the original Scottish lion which has been redrawn from one of the earliest sources seen.
