😩 my (possible future) mother in law put a trump sign in her front yard after the second debate. I’m leaving Australia to stay in her home for five months in like three weeks and I am /afraid/
Oi. I am so sorry. Stuck around that for five months does not sound fun. 😷 A bunch of husband’s family are Trump loving idiots, and we’re probably going to have to see them at Thanksgiving. Even though it’s after the election, it’ll probably still be torture, and it’s just one day.

I agree, t-shirt sounds perfect. Then post it on FB.. it’d be a subtle-ish way of sticking your tongue at them!
Haha. The unfortunate thing is it was a friend of a friend, not even someone I know, so I have no way of rubbing it in their face like that. Too bad.

I wish I could get that on a T-shirt. I’d rather be an “elitist” (whatever that means) than a Trump supporter.
It was really hard to figure out exactly what she meant, although it was clearly meant to be an insult, since it was smashed between “oh, now we know where you’re coming from” and digs at my “progressive sound bites.” This was all for suggesting that voting for Trump just to “save the babies” is a terrible idea because a man who changes his mind multiple times a day can’t be trusted to keep his word on anything, and if you want a true pro-life policy you have to be holistic and start embracing traditionally “liberal” things that would empower women such as paid maternity leave, affordable childcare and early childhood education, living wages, and education. (Oh, and that money talks and when you look at that it’s pretty clear that Republicans value profits over anything else. 😂) But you know. Progressive sound bites and all.

Ooooh, really? I always feel weird asking anyone to do anything. Having it even as a just header/cover image sounds like so much fun, but it seems there’s a good demand for the t-shirts. 😆

I think we all want the t-shirt. A friend of mine is boycotting the Republican Party for telling us we need to be rape apologists to be Christian. I think that’s a good idea.
It really is. I have quite a few friends of the intellectual conservative bent who have stepped away from it in the past months over their principles. Those with more libertarian leanings are planning on voting for Johnson (bless his dumb heart), and those with an eye towards moderate conservatism are leaning towards the independent McMullin. I really admire anyone who’s willing to break away from the crowd to vote their conscience when it comes to things like this because there are still so many who will happily follow the flock right into hell.
