Late night rides had always been soothing for Jiyong. The sound of the roaring engine itself was mollifying enough but now when the radio was switched off and the pouring rain joined in, his frayed nerves were partially settled. Maybe it wasn’t the best idea to get into the car when his hands were still slightly trembling, yet too much had been happening during the day — as well as his life, in general — for him to sit tranquilly at home, preferably holding a bottle of something stronger. But the moment he seated himself behind the steering wheel, it all went away. At least for those few whiles.
The wipers squeaked feebly as they were battling the raindrops washing over the windscreen. Narrowing his eyes to get a sharper vision of how the road looked, there wasn’t much for him to watch, since the streets and the pavements on each side were just deserted. No wonder why, though. Jiyong began to hum a tune that had been stuck in his head for the past hours and he took the first turn, not willing to drive back home yet. Upon noticing a moving silhouette all of sudden, he slowed down by a tad and gazed towards the figure, mainly to ensure himself that it wasn’t his brain making those images up. Yet there indeed was a lone wanderer.
Drawing to a halt, he rolled down the window from the passengers side and leaned over. A broad grin tugged the corners of his mouth, immediately contrasting with the constantly saddened look in his eyes that he regretted not putting some shades on. “Get in, boy.” He chortled lowly and pushed the door open for him, starting to recognize the male’s features, what left him wondering why an idol like Jeon Jeongguk would be strolling in the middle of such downpour. “You don’t want to drown in this flood, do you?”

[ MYG ❇ JJK ] ↳ SELFIE?
Jeon Jeongguk... He takes the title as one of the few people from Cheongnam who Yoongi wished he had the chance to talk to more. But the opportunity never presented itself && the chance slipped through his fingers. One of his earlier memories which included the music artist who he now adores is from the days when he frequently sang at the bar Yoongi visited. The former Cheongnam student was instantly drawn in by the younger man’s voice and his aura. When he was on stage, regardless of who was watching him ( or not watching him ), he always performed with the same passion. And who was he kidding, Jeongguk’s appearance plays a part in his... Guilty pleasure?? Infatuation?? Obsession?? Yoongi isn’t quite sure anymore.
Jeongguk’s lyrics... Yoongi envied the younger man’s capability of pouring his very heart && soul into his lyrics and music. No amount of simple acting could leave such a deep emotional impact on him, he’d decided. So when Jeongguk disappeared off the radar, Yoongi was rather disappointed. But luckily, he was pleasantly surprised when the music artist emerged as a rising star, complete with new songs and dance choreography. His songs became Yoongi’s motivation, his m u s e. He wrote countless poems about him, the man he’d now never get the chance to meet.
That was until Yoongi bumped into Jeongguk on the streets of Seoul.
❝ Uh, s-sorry if you’re busy, I’d completely understand. B-but could I please take a selfie with you?? ❞

Sitting by the table seemed to go on forever. His slouchy posture and brows pulled together that some form of anger and disappointment washed over his face wasn't welcoming for other people to join him and make an attempt to start a talk with their old schoolmate. And it was something Junhoe had been aiming for. However, a few dared to say hello to him but all he gave in return was a dark glare. If he tolerated alcohol, he would probably grab a drink the moment he walked in there. Yet he was left with his exhausting thoughts among which was: Where the hell is Jeongguk?
Resting hands on his lap, he started to restlessly tap his fingers whilst his eyes were shifting from one corner to another. He had been expecting that maybe those years could make the topic of Cheongnam more bearable and that seeing those graduates wouldn't make him feel as though he was stuck within this school's walls again. As much as he wanted to just get up and leave without a single goodbye nor explanation, he didn't want to come across as a coward afraid to face the haunting past.
Upon catching the intensifying sound of steps, June lazily raised his head and opened his eyes wide as if it was a ghost appearing in front of him. A smile-alike grimace twisted his lips to greet his friend. Finally.
A star.
⭐️ The stars aligned for @kookie247!
“Who are we going to meet?” She placed her gently on the ground after the child cheered ‘Kookie Monster!’ Hand in hand, they stayed in line, patiently waiting for their turn to see her old friend. From where they were standing, Stella could already see the star on stage. The sight of him greeting his fans, signing whatever they brought to him, made her heart swell with pride and joy. She knew he could do it. He really did succeed, in the end.
He had grown up quite a bit ever since Cheongnam. His features were sharper. He seemed to have lost weight. Motherly instincts started kicking in when she noticed that. Has he been eating enough? She would ask him that later.
20 minutes later, she earned the chance to stand in front of him, hand still holding on to Luna’s. Unbelievably, she was speechless. She had rehearsed what she 4wanted to tell him days before the fan meet. Now that she was there, those words seemed to dissipate when their eyes met. Does he even recognize me?
Years. Years have gone by since they last spoke and maybe it was her fault since she could not go to his events to meet him personally. All she could do was be a silent supporter, buying his albums, watching him on music shows. But she did miss him. They were close in high school, after all.
Lifting her free hand, she offered him a small wave and then a soft ‘hello’ along with a shy grin. She dropped her gaze and placed his album in front of him. On the cover was a note, written on a blue post-it. In case he could not remember her, maybe the sign-off at the end would trigger some memories.
‘You’ve worked hard, I’m proud of you. Stella ♥︎’
♠. sad movies (w/ jeongguk)
@kookie247
sunday mornings were to relax- which was something mark had been eagerly participating in lately. in fact, this was almost the third time he’s stopped at DVDTheater to rent out a movie. and this time, he asked for the movie, ‘me before you’.
mark has heard mixed reviews about this movie. a few of his acquaintances were gushing about the heart-breaking film, spamming him with streams of texts about what they thought of the movie, how they felt, and what the main character could've, or should've done. others simply said they'd expected the movie to be sadder than what they saw, but they cried nonetheless. so by now, mark has heard dozens on spoilers, but he didn't mind. he doesn't mind spoilers- it gives him a goal list to check off during the movie, rather than being surprised. and though mark really loves surprises, he’d rather not waste his reactions on something trivial- like a movie.
he was headed back to his apartment building when he receives a phone call from a close friend, jeongguk. unexpectedly- mark enjoyed jeongguk’s presence, the two were rather close- and mark cared enough about the younger one to have kept his high school drama out of the young boy’s life back in high school.
so mark, with dvd in hand, heads towards jeongguk’s apartment instead of his own, when the boy utters a thing about ‘watching movies together’.
“Work” day // jjk & ksh
@kookie247
Knocks echoed through the hallway of the apartment building as Seolhyun paced in front of a room on the fourth floor. It was a few days after Jungkook released a stunning single, so she wanted to surprise him with something other than unplanned-performances. (She knew those sucked.) After an unusually long hunt, she had found her friend’s manager and asked what days he had off. He was actually supposed to have a performance today, but after a ton of begging, she’d convinced his manager to give him a day off.
But the thing is- Jungkook didn’t know.
It was around 6:00am when Seolhyun had arrived at the building; she wore a large hoodie with her hair tucked into a cap and a face mask. She also held a clipboard in one hand and had a black (and fake) walkie-talkie in the other.
When his door swung open, she quickly cleared her throat and looked down, trying to hide her face. Getting her voice as deep as it could get, she greeted him, “Hello, Jungkook. Are you ready for your schedule today?”
