It’s been a blast! (pun intended)

But sadly, all good things come to an end. 

This is a tough decision. I don’t like doing this, it saddens me deeply but I have to, I need to. I’ve been on hiatus for too long, been on numerous probation lists. It’s quite a miracle that I’m still on the master list today. Holding on to Stella would be selfish knowing that I wouldn’t be able to live up to the expected activity here, so here I am, letting my baby go. 😭

I apologize that I need to do this (especially to those who have important connections with my muse) but for the last couple of months, I am physically not in good shape. In recent weeks, it has worsened to the point where complete strangers felt the need to come up to me to offer medical advice (which I’ve tried actually and it failed but that’s besides the point). It’s (very) embarrassing and stressful... and I just need a break from pressure of any kind. I’m pretty sure you understand how replies/plotting/meeting activity requirements can sometimes be overwhelming especially when you have real life obligations as well. And I cannot be stressed or else it’ll aggravate my condition. 

That being said... I’d like to thank the directory for being patient with me 🙏🏻, you guys are doing an awesome job, keep it up!! I’ll be cheering for you guys from the side line. To everyone else in 247, old or new, I hope you all will have a great time here, I hope all your muses will develop and achieve great things! 👍🏻

Other things to note (a.k.a. nagging): 

Please please take care of yourself. 

Be happy, smile always. 😊

But also allow yourself to feel sad on rough days. It’s okay to not be okay. 

If anyone tries to ruin your vibe, just fart in their direction.

Hydrate, moisturise, eat your vitamins, wear sunscreen. 

Get enough sleep. 

Study hard, play hard. 

Don’t stress, this is supposed to be fun. 

Take breaks if you feel overwhelmed.

You can do it, whatever you’re trying to achieve in life, you can do it. I know you can.

Of course. Of course, who else could it be. The only being who could pull off such a thing, the one and only Gossip Girl. 

I knew it. Ever since the start of this glamping event. No, even before, when my boss announced I had to be a part of it. Why would a commoner like me have such a privilege? That was when my suspicions began. I had a bad feeling about it. My colleagues were jealous but seriously, if they wanted to trade places with me, I would have given the opportunity to them in a heartbeat. But no, it was strictly for me. 

My suspicions were confirmed when I arrived. 

Cheongnam High’s alumni, everyone, was there. 

I tried my best to isolate myself. I really did. I stayed in my tent all alone most of the time with only the company of a wine bottle. 

But somehow, one morning, Sumin ended up in my tent. I could vaguely remember what happened the previous night, but I could clearly remember the day after. 

There was no doubt I had been drinking. The pounding in my head, the inability to recollect last night’s events were a testament to how much I drank the night before. There was a pounding in my chest as well when I woke up to find her beside me. It had been years ever since I saw her, I should be yelling for her to wake up, get out of my tent, and stay the hell away from me. But I cannot deny the fact that I missed her dearly. 

So I didn’t do what I was supposed to do. Instead, I allowed myself to dwell in the nostalgia while staring at her sleeping form. Call me a creep for doing it, but if you knew Sumin, you wouldn’t be able to keep your eyes off her too. 

What did I miss? Practically everything. 

Those eyes, they were closed now but they used to reduce into crescents whenever she smiled at me. Her nose, whenever we used to nuzzle each other. The lips which took away my first kiss. Both arms which used to embrace me. Those hands, the pair of soft warm hands, that used to hold mine. She, who used to be mine.

 I missed how everything used to be between us, Susu and Mimi.

Leaning in further, I studied her facial features. She appeared more womanly as compared in high school, it was as though she got even more beautiful over the years. It had been years since I have been this close and yet, I still found her stunning. The pounding in my chest grew stronger. I wanted to touch her, the desire was there. My hand was barely an inch away from her cheek but I stopped myself. Resisting the urge had never been so difficult. I had to, for things were still messy between us. We were supposed to hate each other for what had happened. 

I mean I do... I did, I suppose. 

The blame for messing things up, I would gladly take it. But she did not need to do the things she did out of revenge... 

But then again, if I had not... tried to hide... 

These thoughts were making my head ache even more. Too much, I had to leave the tent for some fresh air. 

At least one thing is for sure, whoever sent the tip in was wrong. I am certain, that I don’t just swing one way. Come on, having a kid does not define my sexuality.

Stella must have sensed Sun’s thoughts a little as she quickly clarified that it wasn’t her that she had a crush on either. “I know, don’t worry Stella,” she nodded, smiling at her friend. Her words were comforting and nice and of course, the mention of any guy being lucky to have her only made her think of B. She quickly shook the thought away though since there was a bigger matter at hand.

Sun didn’t notice the way Stella seemed to grow uncomfortable and began to fidget more and more.  By process of elimination, there was only two people left and Sun had already assumed that it was the male. Perhaps it was awkward for Stella to admit since he was currently in a relationship, though. Sun tried her best to be patient, not wanting to pressure Stella to admit her feelings, knowing full well she wouldn’t want that for herself.

When Stella spoke, Sun nodded and took one of her hands in both her own. “Of course Stella, I won’t tell a soul,” she promised, but she knew if Gossip Girl had anything to say about it, keeping it a secret would be a lot easier said than done. When Stella finally confessed, Sun was more than surprised Yes, it was either one of the two remaining in the clique besides herself and B. Yes, they were both in a relationship, which made it a little more complicated. Especially since it was with each other. Yes, Sun assumed she had known the answer already but when the name finally escaped Stella’s lips, it wasn’t the male’s but rather, the female.

“Sumin?” she whispered, as though saying the name out loud would confirm she had heard correctly. “How long…?” Sun was at a loss for words. There was so many things she wanted to say and yet, all that came out were stutters and Sun tripping over her words.

Upon hearing the name, she nodded once firmly. This was the point of no return. Her feelings were acknowledged. Correction, her feelings for another female were acknowledged. It frightened her, how intense these feelings were, she had never felt this way in her life. She was probably too young to classify them under ‘love’, but Stella somehow knew that people would judge her if she came out and say that she liked her best friend. Not platonically, but like how a girl likes a boy, or a boy likes a girl. 

“It’s been a while, months, I think...” she replied, her hands were shaking, confessing this out loud to someone else was scary. She trusted Sun wholeheartedly but the risk of this confession spreading like wildfire was there, especially if another student overheard them. The fear caused Stella to whip her head around. Blind spots checked, empty, no one was eavesdropping, this should be safe territory to let all her thoughts and feelings out. This was supposed to be her safe place, after all. 

Taking a deep breath, Stella lifted her gaze, making eye contact with the other. The shock was quite evident from her expression. Of course  “You do understand what I meant by ‘like’ right?” A pause. “It’s exactly the same as how you like Chase,” she explained, her voice shaky. “I’m not supposed to like her this way... but I do.”

Sun chuckled, relieved by Stella’s words and the smile on her face grew wider. “Well…now you know, so I hope that you won’t get uncomfortable later on,” she said jokingly, but a part of her worried that now that she had admitted her feelings, Stella would surely notice Sun’s behaviour and see the two of them in a different light and she hoped that it wouldn’t make things awkward.

She stayed silent as she waited for Stella to speak and noticed the change of emotions that flickered across her face but she did her best to remain silent and be patient.

At Stella’s confession, Sun couldn’t help but hide her surprise and Stella must have noticed it as well as she quickly reassured her that it wasn’t B that she had feelings for. “Then…” her brows knitted together and she was in deep thought. That only left Sumin and A and herself, and she highly doubted that Stella had a crush on her and she assumed that it wasn’t Sumin that Stella had a crush on either, which only left A.

Sun tried to hide her thoughts from showing on her face as she considered this. There was nothing wrong if Stella liked A, but Sumin and A were dating and that would definitely make things all the more complicated for all of them if that was where Stella’s feelings laid. “Who…?” she asked, trying to think of how to ask without letting her assumptions get the better of her. “Who is it that you like?”

“And of course, it’s not you either,” she continued, a wry smile appearing on her lips. Stella corrected herself again, in case her friend misunderstood what she meant, “Not saying that you’re not.... well, any guy would be lucky to have you, I’m very sure of that. And you most definitely deserve someone better than me.” 

So by elimination, it leaves only Jungkook and Sumin as the remaining candidates. The temptation to lie and pretend that she liked the male was strong, so strong that she had to chew on her lower lip to stop herself from blurting it out. Stella’s eyes were shifty, hands toying with the hem of her skirt. Glancing over at Sun, Stella’s heart ached with guilt for even considering to lie to her when Sun had been nothing but truthful about her situation. She needed to reciprocate the honesty, at the very least. 

“This is just... between you and me okay?” Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes, hoping it would rid her of the worries and anxiousness which were making her insides churn. Once she confessed, there was no going back, it meant her feelings were true, they existed. She could only hope that the other would not judge her for it. The possibility could be there, especially since homosexuality was still not widely accepted in the country. “I think I have feelings for Sumin,” she admitted, eyes opened now, gaze averted to the floor. Stella hesitated to make eye contact, fearing Sun’s reaction to her confession.

sumin stopped to stare at stella for a moment upon hearing her question. how about later on? of course she would have a class later on. but if stella still wanted her presence until then, she could just simply skip that class for the sake of being with the older female. it wasn’t like she had never done it, she did skip classes a few times on purpose before and honestly it didn’t really bother her much. most of the teachers would just either turn a blind eye on her absence or send her to detention because she had no strong reason for not attending, which she was also already used to all this while.  

“yeah, i guess i’ll be free later on too.” stella’s next words made sumin smiled, now that was what something tempting. her eyes were already filled with excitement at the sudden thought of them going to somewhere more interesting than coming to a boring place like this. just the two of them spending time together like how she had always liked. stella didn’t even have to do anything and sumin would agree with her every single time she asked if she wanted to hang out. honestly that was a little embarrassing, sumin could just hope she didn’t look like an idiot agreeing to everything that stella had said. man, she was whipped as fuck for stella.

she nodded once, continuing to listen to what stella had to say before replying, and that was when a shush sound was heard. her focus on stella was also interrupted, and as much as she wanted to curse this old librarian lady for cutting her friend off like that, she had ended up chuckling at how cute startled stella had looked like. she knew it was mean but stella looked so cute, she actually made a mental note to to surprise stella as much as she could just to see her cute startled face again. biting on her lower lip as she tried to hold in her laugh, she pretended to look through the books in front of her as a disguise, at least after the librarian had looked away. upon hearing stella speaking, she turned to look at her again. 

“i bet you know food is the easiest way to my heart so i couldn’t say no to that,” she mused. maybe you could be the way to my heart too. another smile crept on her lips at the thought, her hands stopped hovering the books upon hearing stella’s next offer regarding how could she repay sumin for coming here with her in the first place. it was true that sumin paid no attention to her assignments all this while. having someone to do them would probably be much of a help, but she didn’t particularly want that someone to be stella. hell no, she was worth a lot more than just someone that sumin could have to do her assignments. and so she continued to listen to stella, she swore her heart almost stopped beating when she had said that she would give her a kiss. was this some kind of a hint to sumin? 

she turned her head to find their faces were only inches away at this moment, her heart was beating rapidly at how close they actually were that she could literally feel the older girl’s breath against her skin. and before she could know it, sumin leaned in to close the gap between them. she closed her eyes slowly as she took a moment to enjoy how heavenly those lips of stella’s had felt against her own, casually bringing a hand up to hold her beautiful face as she eventually deepened the kiss. it was sweet and addicting, sumin had never wanted to kiss someone this badly before. it felt as if time actually stopped and the world only belonged to the two of them now, and kissing those lips had made sumin forgot that they were actually in the library and people could be looking, but none of that really mattered. all she could see now was stella, stella, and stella alone.

If food was the easiest way to her heart, Stella would grow up and be a chef in hopes of winning the younger’s heart. She had wanted to say that out loud, knowing that it would make Sumin smile at how cheesy it was, but part of her was afraid that it would not come across as something sappy. What she felt was genuine, she did not know what to call it, but it was an intense emotion, so intense she feared that it might scare her best friend away. Either that, or it might turn their relationship awkward and Stella would settle with whatever they had now. Better than nothing, even though she deeply craved for something else. At times, her feelings for Sumin did confuse her. Was it even normal to feel this way about another girl? Does Susu share the same feelings too? 

Those questions that had been running through her mind came to a complete halt when the distance between them were only inches apart. Sure, they have been much closer than this on many occasions. It was not uncommon to see them with their heads rested against each other, they even kissed each other’s cheeks sometimes when they are parting ways, but this was different. She could not put a finger on what it was. But she had no time to mull over it for Sumin made the first move to press her lips on her own. 

Her eyes grew wide at the contact, she was surprised that the younger would even kiss her. Despite the shock, Stella did not pull away. Instead, she closed her eyes and relish the softness of Sumin’s lips. Months of daydreaming about how it would be like to kiss Sumin did not do this moment justice. They were much softer and warmer than she imagined. She reciprocated the kiss, pressing back. The books she held against her chest fell with a thud as they hit the padded floor. She paid no mind to it, the older female just wanted to hold her. As Sumin deepened the kiss, Stella curled her arms around Sumin’s waist and pulled her close, close enough that there was no space between them, and Sumin could probably feel Stella’s racing heartbeat. She tilted her head and deepened the kiss as well, her insides growing warm and she could not help but smile into the kiss. The corners of her lips curled up as she continued to kiss her best friend. Her chest swelled with happiness. Stella could safely say, for certain, this could be one of the happiest days of her life. 

She (hesitantly) broke the kiss to catch her breath. Without pulling back, Stella rested her forehead against Sumin’s and chuckled breathlessly. “Wow...” The lack of warmth on her lips spurred the desire to kiss her once again. “I...” she blushed, knowing it would be shameless of her to request for one more. “Susu, can we do that again?” She pouted a bit and gently rubbed their lips together, “Please?”

Feeling her nose being bopped was new for Ophelia as she opened her eyes slowly at the pouting drunk girl. “Sleeping?” She asked before being silenced as the other tried to navigate around the table. She watched with amusement as her equally intoxicated group looked on as they fell into a fit of laughter seeing their friend struggle so. Ophelia was rarely the sober one in any situation so watching this all play out whilst not under the influence was probably far more entertaining than she expected her day turning out to be.

It wasn’t a rare occurrence for people to approach her and trying to get a kiss, she was rarely on the hunt for a partner and she almost never made the approach. However, it was a bit different with women. Men were the first to walk over and chat before buying her a drink and she would invite them to her place or vice versa. There was also the occasion bathroom or backroom hookup and ect. But girls acted very coy unless she was at a gay bar, they would only walk over in groups and laugh nervously and if Ophelia finally had them in her arms they would make some lame excuse about ‘not their usual hookup’ or ‘I’m not gay though’ which was obvious as they always seemed infatuated with her boobs. Straight women sure as hell were odd.

Next thing she knows the red head has plunked down atop Ophelia’s lap and was only inches from her face. Being this close to the other, she could smell the reek of alcohol which was far too common in her conquests it seemed. But usually they shared the same scent, which wasn’t currently the case. The girl such a short distance had small dark circles from what she can only assume was lack of sleep; yet she was still quite beautiful even if she wasn’t as perfect as Ophelia. “Ready.” She answered before awaiting the girl’s kiss. 

The reply made her all giggly, clearly showcasing the excitement bubbling up inside her. She was going to win this dare and that made her ecstatic. Thank God this beautiful stranger did not reject her or else it would have been a flop. Turning her head slightly towards her friends, red tresses brushing against her cheeks, she mouthed silently ‘Watch this.’ Soon after, her attention was back on the stranger’s lips. Stella gingerly lifted a hand, index finger tracing over the lip line, careful not to smudge the lipstick she had on. She did not want to ruin it with her finger, she wanted to do that with her lips.

Stella could vaguely remember the last time she had a kiss with a woman. Even in her tipsy state, she could recall who she shared it with, how much she meant to her and how wonderful the kiss was. Someone she loved dearly even though at that point in time, she was a little too young to know what love meant. Tonight would be the first time in years for her to be intimate with another female. 

Slowly, she leaned in, closing the gap between them. Closing her eyes, she pressed her lips lightly onto hers, a soft peck. She broke away but found herself wanting more so within a split second, her lips crashed into hers again, a harder kiss as compared to the first. This time she held it longer, tilting her head to deepen it. It did not take long for Stella to get lost in the kiss. Her arms automatically come up to rest them on this lady’s shoulders and without much thought, she pressed her body against hers.

he sits down on the park bench and tries not to sigh or get angry about her assumptions on his character. he has to remind himself that she disappeared a long time and even though they had been good friends before, she’d really only seen a small bit of him when they were younger. he shouldn’t be upset that she would think so low of him to shift into some kind of bad guy, some snobbish asshole who refuses to meet up with old friends. to be fair, he wouldn’t just accept an invitation from just anyone from cheongnam, to come meet up… well… okay actually yes, he probably would.

“i may have changed a lot on the outside, but i’m still me.” he hunches his shoulders up a bit in a half-shrug, a million memories of him being too soft for the likes of those high school hallways to really make anything of himself or stand up for himself against the onslaught of the other kids’ laughter. he turns his head away a bit, looking out over the playground absently, and tries to ignore the way his heart constricts when she mentions about their fight. he clenches his jaw a little. he won’t apologize to her for that, no way. “yeah i know what you mean…” he pauses, not sure if that’s something he wants to get into right now, but he knows it’s going to weigh on his mind until they do.

suddenly he wonders why she’s brought him here to a playground—is that some kind of sick joke? she had been dead-set on getting rid of her baby, the whole root of the problem in the first place, and seunghyun isn’t sure he can just let that sort of thing go. he tries to smile back at her and nod though, tries to sound lighthearted as he responds. “i… i’ve missed you too, and uh… yeah… i mean, there’s a lot…” so much so, that apparently he can’t even think of any. fuck this, he can’t pretend like this—for an actor, he sure is shit at putting up a decent front. “stella, if you’ve brought me out here to apologize to you about our fight, it’s a lost cause, you know.” he finally looks over into her eyes, his gaze intense. “i won’t say sorry to you for telling you not to get rid of a baby, and maybe you did anyway, that’s up to you, but i still think abortion is unfair, i’m not going to change my morals like that just for you…”

Flashbacks of their fight flooded her mind. The anger, her heart beating harder, the unkind words, her clenched fists. The fight left her terribly upset and confused. He was supposed to be her friends, supposed to be supportive of the decision she made, but there he was convincing her to do the direct opposite - to keep the unborn child that had ruined her relationship with her parents, who had basically ruined her life just by existing in her womb. 

And she was glad that he did. Her selfish mindset might have blamed the baby for how things were, but in actual fact, it was partly her fault for being in such a mess. He did not know this, she never told him, but his words that day clung onto her. If it were not for him, Luna would not be running around the playground now. 

She was slightly taken aback by his intense gaze. Stella blinked a few times, not expecting him to hear those words from him. His words were a little harsh but they did not offend her at all. Instead, she was glad his morals were still intact, happy to know that a good man like him exists. Her expression softened once he had finished. Lips curling up in a gentle smile, she averted her gaze to see her daughter having fun on her own. “I brought you here not for an apology,” she began, shaking her head slightly to emphasize her point. “I wanted to thank you.”

Her eyes met his again, and this time her smile was wider to show how grateful she was. Keeping the baby was the best decision she had made. Luna became the light of her life, the one who helped her out of her darkness. She could only thank Seunghyun for giving her that push. “Thank you for telling me to keep her,” Stella tilted her head, gesturing to the little girl on the playground. “Her name is Luna.”

it almost felt like the good ‘ol times again when they were in cheongnam when she first saw stella. suddenly all of their memories came back running in the back of her mind, how they first met and became friends after that, only to eventually have mutual feelings for each other and everything was nice and perfect… until they were caught one day. honestly sumin didn’t mind if people were going against them (she was already used to it anyways) because of that. and while she thought they could do it if they were together but no, stella was quick to back out and even got herself a boyfriend to hide their little secret. 

she thought it would be temporary but she had lost stella forever. 

maybe it was all sumin’s fault. after all why would she be so sure that stella would want to do this with her anyways? she was blinded by her love and attention. it made her believed that everything was possible if it was with stella, but she forgot that the older girl could just give up on them anytime. her biggest fear just had to happen that fast, and suddenly everything turned into pitch black and she couldn’t remember anything anymore. nope, she refused to remember them. it had hurt her enough. 

her lips curved into a smile upon hearing her name being called—it had been a while since she last heard that sweet honey voice calling her name, it made her undeniably happy for some reason. “looks like you still haven’t forgotten me,” she said with a slightly drunk tone, her smile turning into a smug one. “thank you,” she blurted out, the smile on her lips slowly fading as she looked at stella. “for not forgetting me. that’s really a big relief to know that.” 

she took a few steps and stopped when she was only a few inches from the female, carefully not to trip over or anything despite how heavy her head was feeling right now. “i…” usually when faced with stella, all she wanted to do was scream to her face or make her life hard in retaliation for breaking her heart. but she couldn’t even seem to find the energy to do it right now, instead she suddenly moved forward and pulled stella into a tight hug, holding onto her as if she would never let her go ever again. “i miss you,” she whispered softly. 

Her mind was hazy due to the booze, most probably the contributing factor to all the nostalgia rushing through her upon meeting Sumin’s gaze. They had their fair share of awful memories, sure, but right now the only thing that filled her brain were joyful recollections of what they once were. The line was hazy, just like her head at that moment, but back then Stella could not put a proper label to their relationship. They settled with ‘best friends’ most of the time but she often questioned if friends were supposed to act like how they would. The skinship, the dates, the loving glances, the little gestures. It left her confused. Until the kiss happened. She never told anyone about this but the euphoric feeling which warmed her insides when their lips met made her absolutely sure, she was in love. 

If only they had not been caught that day, if only she had been brave enough to admit her feelings, if only she had not chickened out, if only she had not been with Jungkook. If only. If only. If only. It still haunted her to this day and of course it would, her whole life went downhill from then, all due to her poorly made choices. Part of her felt that she had not been truly happy ever since their relationship ended. 

Her words caught Stella off guard. I can never forget about you. The word of gratitude was a surprise. The confession accompanied by the tight embrace shocked her and for a moment, Stella froze in Sumin’s arms. With the absence of space between them, the other could probably feel the racing heartbeat coming from Stella’s chest. She took a full minute to recover, and once she did, Stella relaxed slightly and slowly brought both arms up to wrap them around Sumin’s waist. “I miss you too,” she admitted as she closed her eyes and rested her chin on Sumin’s shoulder, relishing her body warmth. “Very much.”

it was already past midnight by now, or so sumin thought, and it seemed like everyone had already starting to go inside their tent since it was getting late. yoori and bora were nowhere to be found and she spent most of her time drinking alone in the tent, one glass after another and the number kept on going until she realized there was nothing left in the bottle. “ah, i was only going to drink a glass though…” suddenly it felt a little bit stuffy inside the tent, so sumin had went out and taken a walk around the campsite for a while. however, her feet stopped abruptly when she reached a particular tent. 

wasn’t this stella’s tent? she was pretty certain she saw stella here the day before, but that didn’t mean this was her tent. after all she could just go in and out from someone else’s tent. she wondered what she could be doing now, or who did she come here with. it better not be that asshole. this sudden curiosity about stella’s well being was bothering her and she knew there was no other way to confirm this than to talk to stella herself. it wasn’t too late to go back though, but sumin liked to challenge herself—especially when she wasn’t even halfway sober at this point, and she just wanted to see if she could really talk to stella after all this while. thank god for the alcohol running through her system now, she was a tad bit more confident. 

“yah, park seungmi.” she called out, looking straight at the tent. “come out now! aren’t you going to say hi to your old friend here?” her voice was loud, but it probably wouldn’t reach the third tent on her both sides. thank god she hadn’t said anything stupid… yet. there wasn’t any response in what felt like a minute (or an hour in her intoxicated mind) and so it got her upset. “are you really not gonna come out? whoa, daebak.” she scoffed before adding, “right, don’t come out. because i’m going to barge in—” and there she was, standing right before her eyes looking just as beautiful as she last saw her. 

Honestly, Stella regretted agreeing to the invitation. She should have known there was something fishy when her name was chosen. Her gut feeling was right, GG must have been the mastermind behind all this because as soon as she arrived at the resort, she was greeted by her worst nightmare. Almost everyone from Cheongnam High was here. Save for a few that were on good terms with her, she could confidently declare that 85% of the tenants here had, in one way or another, ruined her life. To make matters even worse, the two people she never wanted to talk to for the rest of her life were here, within a 3km radius. This must be some of kind of a joke. A sick one that only GG could pull off. 

Being stuck here for days with these people would be torturous, no doubt. Stella would much rather be confined in the hot, humid kitchen of Gosang Restaurant or even face Luna’s tantrums for 2 weeks straight. She decided the best method to avoid any unwanted drama (such as bumping into them) would be to isolate herself. And that was what she did. Huddled in her tent, she stayed there for most of the time unless necessary for her to go out. 

On the way back from the restroom, she managed to grab a bottle of alcohol which became her companion for the rest of the night. Stella kept gulping down the drink until there was a quarter left, much to her disappointment. “So little left? Better get some more...” By then, her face was already flushed, standing seemed to be a feat and her mind was only focused on stealing another bottle of soju. 

After successfully steadying herself to stand upright, there was a commotion happening outside of her tent. Stella froze. Someone was calling out for her. A lady, and she did not sound happy at all. Unable to think of a better solution, she stayed completely still in her tent, hoping that her silence would drive the female away. Her plan backfired though as the (mad) woman barged in. “Yah!” She yelled at the intruder, the sound abruptly cut off when Stella could make out who it was. The only person who could own such stunning features. “Su-... Sumin?”

Too fast, too furious. [ Past ]

Since Monday he would be always looking forward to Friday and when it finally came, Jiyong couldn’t wait until night would fall. It was when all the best parties were happening and it was truly hard to choose between them. Even attending a boisterous one, which would be talked about in the school corridors after the weekend, he regretted not going to the other.

He met Stella not long ago. All he knew was that the girl was leading a lifestyle opposite to his and he was willing to change that. Jiyong hated dullness and staying at home when the city had so much to offer. Clubs were easier to stumble upon than libraries, however, house parties were his absolute favourite. The host would open their parents’ liquor cabinet, so it could be utterly emptied in mere hours and goodness knew what was taking place in each of the rooms.

Jiyong had already lost count in the drinks he had downed, the number didn’t matter at all. And he reached for a another glass, not being sure what liquid was filling it but as long as it included alcohol, Jiyong wouldn’t complain. With the rim touching his lips, a familiar voice resounding beside him made him lower the cup and glance in the person’s direction.

“What do you want to slow down?” A radiant grin sat in the corners of his mouth as he turned towards Stella. Putting a hand on her shoulder, he leaned in by a bit. “Nobody in here has the time to slow down.” Raising his voice to out shout the blasting music, the drunken mirth washing over his flushed face wasn’t fading away. “Bottoms up, Stella!” Laughing out loud, he clinked their glasses together before taking a slug.

Back hunched, gaze lowered to the floor, hand gripping a glass filled with alcohol. Feeling out of place was normal but this was on a whole new level. Her first time being in a house party. Her rigid mannerisms and awkwardness definitely gave away her inexperience. What she had in mind when Jiyong invited her to this party was such a stark difference to what was currently happening. Stella’s expectations included snacks, junk food, harmless party games and karaoke. There were snacks and junk food, sure, but there was also alcohol, couples making out in various corners of the house which made the young girl uncomfortable. 

Her body tensed up when his arm curled around her. He was clearly drunk, just like the rest in the group they were sitting with. She was the only one sober at this point. While he took a big gulp, Stella gingerly lifted the glass to her lips, taking a small sip of the drink. Immediately, her face contorted, not used to the taste. In the back of her mind, she wondered why people loved drinking alcohol so much when it tasted so bad. Lifting her gaze, she scanned the crowd of youngsters in the house and she could not help but notice their carefree expressions. Her eyes landed on Jiyong and the same look was written all over his face. Somehow, she felt envious. Stella craved to feel as free as them, with no concerns or worries at all. 

Maybe that’s why, she thought to herself, raising the glass to study the brown coloured liquid inside it. Maybe this was the key to their freedom. Without much thought, she downed the whole glass, eyes tightly shut as the alcohol travelled down her throat, leaving a burning sensation behind. Once the burn dissipates, she nudged Jiyong and presented the empty glass to him. “More,” she demanded.

seunghyun sits back down on the picnic blanket, all smiles and excitement again now, as though the last hour waiting for them just disappeared from his mind. there is no use dwelling on it anyway, so he focuses his attentions on the basket. he exchanges a wordless look with luna, who just so happens to be the best little kid in the world, and then laughs as stella presents the sandwich.

he picks it up and examines it a bit, turning it this way and that. “i’ve never had it before no… or even heard of it, was this an experiment or an accident that you decided was good enough to feed people with?” he chuckles as he carefully and cautiously brings it up to his lips and takes a bite. he doesn’t very often eat sandwiches, so it’s been a while but after a few moments, he lets a smile spread across his face and nods. “huh! this is… interesting. good interesting though!” he takes another bite. “how many of these did you make?”

“Let’s just say it was an experiment which accidentally ended up having a good result.” She watched closely as the older male took a bite, breath held until a smile appeared on his lips. A matching grin tugs on her own, relieved that he found it edible at least. Stella then picked up another to feed Luna who would rather feed herself since her mother was a little too slow for her liking. Once the sandwich was secure in her small hands, Stella withdrew her own, eyes occasionally glancing down to ensure the child was not making a mess. 

She could not help but chuckle at his question. Gesturing to Luna who was stuffing her mouth, Stella responded, “I hope we have enough so you won’t need to fight with her for them.” She dipped her hand into the picnic basket to retrieved a napkin and proceeded to wipe off the crumbs off the side of Luna’s lips.  “It’s her favourite as you can tell.”

This is a mistake. Jeongguk should know better. But he’s what, eighteen, and he’s on the final moments of his high school life. Getting a girlfriend, being able to break down his walls for someone he actually cared about without his family’s control and the valedictorian spot within his reach: Jeongguk is on the top of the world. Nothing else will destroy his moment from him. Nothing should come against his way. Not unless, he himself creates his own downfall.

Jeongguk’s actions were always calculated, always weighing the pros and cons of every action he should do. Yet somehow, this impulsive thought came over his head, making him do the unspeakable; recording the moment of passion he has for (and with) his girlfriend, Stella. He made sure it was hidden; Stella would flip out if she finds out.

Stella looked peaceful sleeping on his arms. Jeongguk, on the other hand, was restless. It just dawned to him how idiotic this whole situation was. He basically enabled a weapon that will destroy everyone involved. What the fuck have I done? He could still delete it. Jeongguk slowly nudged his arm away from Stella’s head which served as a pillow. No budge. Jeongguk sighed in relief, immediately going towards the shelf where the phone was placed.

Jeongguk was a few clicks away from deleting the file, yet his curiosity sparked again, which he opted to just click the video anyway and watch for his own sake.

Until he heard the sheets rustling. Shit.

Stella was tired. Maybe tired was not the exact term for it. Exhausted would fit better. It felt like hours, hours of activity, starting from a long day at school, choir practice and then a ‘study date’ with her boyfriend. Not that he really needed to study, because he was basically a genius. What he usually studied during these sessions had nothing to do with academics. Instead, his revision consisted of the hidden curves, the sensitive spots, the erogenous zones found on her body.

She had no complaints though. Despite the hectic schedule, it was nice to end it with some sort of stress relief. Especially when he was the one who was always eager to pleasure her. This time was no different except she fell into post coital slumber much quicker, her eyes could barely stay open while they cuddled. As soon as he wrapped his arms around her, she slipped into deep sleep. 

The loss of warmth caused her to stir. A soft, inaudible whine escaped her lips. Arms and legs stretching slightly as she tried to get the warmth back. Slowly, her eyelids lifted, eyes searching for the body which was holding her previously. “Oppa...” Stella called out upon noticing he was not too far away from the bed. She rolled over onto his side, his body heat made the area warm enough for her to cease rolling and nuzzle his pillow. “What are you doing? Come back to bed.” Her eyes caught the mobile device resting in his palm but she did not think too much of it. “Are you taking pictures of me sleeping?”
