With a pedigree only Fuckin’ Record Reviews could love, this reassembly of Texas malcontents into a black eye steamroller is long overdue. Anyone paying attention will recognize the names involved, but it’s the more-than-the-sum-of-its-parts-WHOLE that delivers the Kool Aide Man bursting through the wall impact. You know, one has to be smart to pull that off without getting bruised every time someone’s thirsty. Superb...and undoubtedly one of the BEST REASONS TO WRITE A FUCKIN’ RECORD REVIEW IN 2016.
