A story about Nova's identity...

The grand hall of the Earth Koopa Kingdom was dimly lit by torches, casting flickering shadows on the stone walls. At the center of a massive round table sat four rulers, each representing one of the Koopa races: Bowser, the King of "Earth" Koopas; Athena, the Queen of the Sea Koopas; Caelus, the King of the Para Koopas; and Bellatrix, the Queen of the Galactik Koopas.
Bowser leaned forward, his claws resting on the table. "Alright, we're here, like once every year. So, what’s the big issue this time? Some rogue army causing trouble? Another disaster?"
Athena, her shimmering, sea-blue scales glistening under the torchlight, shook her head. "No immediate threats, thankfully. But we need to ensure our kingdoms remain united. The balance between our people is delicate, and any shift could cause chaos. We dont want to do the same as our ancestors"
Caelus, his golden wings folding behind him, nodded. "Agreed. Our borders have been peaceful, but cooperation is key. Bellatrix, you've been quiet. Anything to report from the stars?"
Bellatrix, who had been gazing at the table, lost in thought, finally spoke. "Nothing urgent. But we are few, and our presence is fading. The Galactik Koopas are nearly extinct."
Bowser crossed his arms. "Hmph. That’s rough. Speaking of Koopas who don’t quite fit in... there’s something I want to talk about. It’s about a koopa girl, Nova."
The three rulers turned their attention to him.
"Ludwig found her in the forest years ago. She was just a little kid back then. She had no memory of who she was or where she came from, so we took her in. She grew up in my castle, trained with the others... I didnt talked about this sooner because it was all good but... now that shes a preteen, she’s different."
"Different how?" Athena inquired.
Bowser exhaled. "For starters, she breathes blue fire. None of my kids can do that. And her eyes... they look like... stars. The older she gets, the more she feels out of place. She tries to fit in, but I see the doubt in her."
Bellatrix’s eyes widened slightly. "Blue fire... starry eyes..." she murmured, intrigued. "Tell me more."
Bowser frowned, thinking. "She’s faster than most Koopas. She can see in the dark better than any of us. And sometimes, when she stares at the sky for too long, she seems... lost in thought, as if something is calling her."
Bellatrix leaned forward, her deep purple eyes flashing with curiosity. "Bowser, do you realize what you’re describing? These aren’t just random traits. These are the signs of a Galactik Koopa."
A heavy silence filled the room.
Caelus was the first to break it. "That would make sense, wouldn’t it?"
Athena nodded. "But that would also mean... Nova is one of the last of her kind."
Bellatrix seemed lost in thought, her mind racing. "If she truly is a Galactik Koopa, she is special. My kind are few, and I believed our numbers were dwindling even further. I must meet her."
Bowser narrowed his eyes. "You’re sure about this?"
Bellatrix smirked. "I don’t claim to know everything, but I can tell when something—or someone—is connected to the stars. You said yourself Nova felt.. different, wanting to know where she comes from... And if Nova is one of us... then she deserves to know where she comes from."
Bowser crossed his arms, his expression unreadable. "I see...But she’s like one of my one now. I won’t let anything happen to her."
Bellatrix gave him a reassuring nod. "I don’t intend to take her away. But she deserves answers, Bowser. And I might be able to give them to her."
Bowser sighed, rubbing his temples. "Alright. I’ll bring her to you. But understand this—no matter where she comes from, she’s part of our family."
Bellatrix smiled softly. "Of course. But this may be the start of a journey she was always meant to take."
As the rulers sat in contemplative silence, the stars outside seemed to shine just a little brighter, as if anticipating the moment Nova would finally discover the truth about herself.
