The look on Yoo Ji-Tae’s face in this Mad Dog scene is exactly what I’d look like if I was waiting for the barista to make my latte and I looked over and saw Woo Do-Hwan standing right next to me. My internal monologue: Derp de derp derp coffee yum yum.....whaaa...WOO DO HWAAAAhhh...WHUT???
I would then stare at him just like the owl is doing, standing creepily still, with no understanding of what was kdrama dream magic or reality. This would be followed by an intense internal discussion where the itty bitty sane part of me says, NO! We are not reaching out to touch his pretty face because not only is that rude, inappropriate, and detrimental to his elaborate skincare regimen, but you know very well that mere mortals do NOT touch the gods! Now put your hand down this instant!!!
Woo Do-Hwan sees all of this out of the corner of his eye, but shows nothing because he’s a goddamn pro. He silently curses the pitfalls of celebrity, wonders how many restraining orders they’ve filed now, and wishes the next fan would just be some chill oddball who wants to ask about something unexpectedly interesting, like traditional Korean archery or something.*

* The stupid irony is that I would actually just want to ask him about the process of learning traditional archery, swordsmanship, and general fighting skills for My Country: The New Age. Who he trained with, how long it took, and how difficult it was to do all that in the hanbok or full armor. I don’t give a shit about autographs or photos. So yeah, I’m a total nerd who can’t even fangirl properly.
The 19-year-old’s score comes less than a week after the reinstatement of national events for records.
An San 🇰🇷 made her impressive debut on the Hyundai Archery World Cup circuit in 2019! 🏹🥇🙌
At 19 years old, she’s now the third recurve woman to hit 1400+ points on the 1440 Round.

Videos about Korea
If you are interested in the most popular Youtube videos in Korea right now go to South Korea YouTube Trends dashboard. These are not necessarily videos about Korea but rather videos which are the most watched that day by people located in South Korea.
Here’s a list of some of the top pics of Youtube videos about Korea:
Best Youtube Korean videos
Korea is a world champion in break-dancing and these Bboys show off their skills while fusing the modern and the traditional in a video that represents Korea so well. Korean B-Boy Group "Last for One" dances in front of Gyeongbokgung in Seoul, Korea in a wonderful meld of old and new.
3.1 Art Collaboration between Aart and an excellent artist Kim JungGi inspired by Korean fight for independence. As the video progresses you will notice he makes absolutely no sketching and marks, and yet by the time the video finishes a perfect shape emerges out of the tiny details. Kim JungGi's site, where you can also purchase his art, says he has an abilty to visualize the drawing and thus doesn't need guides nor references. He drew the whole thing with brush pen which I also tried using for Korean calligraphy, and let me tell you, it is very difficult to control.
You may already know that Taekwondo is a Korean marital art and the national sport of South Korea. But you have probably never seen it done with just a hand. Check out Taekwondo "Finger" performance in Korea. This funny Korean video of an angry hand doing Taekwondo earned more than 3 millions views on Youtube.
Korean Jinwoo Shin filmed Free Hugs campaign all the way back in 2006 and amassed over 2,8 million views. It’s difficult not to smile while watching this. Would you hug him or are you too shy?
South Korea won many medals in Archery at the Olympics and after I saw these Korean archers I realized why. Robin Hood would feel ashamed. Watch Korean archer split a kidney bean from 30 meters away. In slow motion you can see that his arrow actually passes through the middle of the string that holds the bean propped up in the air!
Did you ever want the ability to shop in a grocery store while waiting for the subway? You have no idea what I’m talking about, do you? You will after you see this clever marketing campaign by a Korean grocery store. They created virtual store displays that allowed Korean subway travelers to scan the codes with their smartphones and delivered to their homes and save the precious time otherwise spent pushing though the crowded stores and wasted waiting for the subway. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o9zcs1dg8qo
YouTube is full of videos of Korean Kings’ Desert being prepared, and no matter how many you watch you will notice the exact same words being used over and over again by different vendors. Still, it never stops being impressive seeing those thousands of strings ready to be eaten. It looks amazing and delicious. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pCLYieehzGs
Korean video tutorials and educational videos
Korean decorative knotwork called 매듭 in Korean language is a traditional Korean art. If you are a fan of Korean historical (sageuk) dramas you have already seen these knots decorating Korean houses and clothes. For example hanging from a Hanbok sash, or from a curtain. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EaujuRymSWk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxAb1XWR9fk
An hour long lecture by Professor David C. Kang for Korean Studies Institute at University of Southern California. It may seem long but I suggest, if you don't have the time, to simply listen to the lecture while you are doing something else (like for example making Korean traditional knots ;) ) because it's very educational and I think you owe it to yourself to know this if Korea interests you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTpLQrV7LZE
If you are interested in learning Korean language and are looking for some Korean language youtube videos I suggest you check out Talk to Me in Korean. The scope and range of their videos, as well as their quality is simply unrivaled. And of course, start with learning Hangul: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AqFGHMxWtYk
