Rain
I think it is safe to say that mansoon season is upon us. The rain isn't too bad, but the slow drizzle for days is coming. I really wish I had got my scooter sold before this started, but we will see what happens in the next couple of weeks.
In other news, I'm 18 days away from eating some tasty American food in the great state of Oklahoma. However, before I leave I still need to get way too much done. I need to ship stuff home, clean out my apartment, give some gifts away, and say goodbye to friends and old coworkers. I'm sure it will all come together in the end, but right now it looks like a pretty tall mountain to climb.
Pretty excited about this coming weekend. We are seeing Wicked and going to the DMZ...two things that are on my bucket list. Sad part is that the DMZ tour we are doing is not the best, but at least I can say that I've seen it.
Anyway, I'll update this thing with some photos from the DMZ this weekend.
Time to hit the trail
Well, if you haven't heard already, I am heading home. It has been such an amazing adventure here in Korea and I am so fortunate to have had the opportunity to come here. Korea truly opened my eyes to a lot of things in this world that I was blind to prior to coming.
I guess it really hasn't sunk in yet, to tell the truth. Maybe it won't sink in until I actually hit the states. Either way, I have a TON of packing to do and a lot of things to get sold before I leave.
I think what I might do, and what you might get to see, is a small video diary everyday until I leave. We'll see if I can force myself to get that done. Maybe I'll get into the swing of it.
Anyway, I am really excited to see all you Okies (friends and family alike) and incredibly sad to leave all my friends and loved ones in Korea. I have met some of the most amazing people here and really feel like I have made a lot of life long friends...no matter the distance!
Seokbulsa in Busan
MacZoonald's...I guess copyright laws are pretty loose here in Korea haha

Seems too good to be true! Looks like Rosetta Stone is going to get some competition. I hope I get invited to check it out!
