Today’s Korean proverb: “A dragon from a brook." 개천에서 용난다 This means “Someone from a humble(tough) background achieves something majestic.” Similar english saying was suggested to be "Great oaks from little acorns grow" or “Rags to riches”, but I am not sure about this because the korean one doesn’t only mean about being patient or wealth. I like this proverb because it motivates me to become a dragon :) 🐲✨ . . . . Some korean old saying is so cute and insightful, so I decided to illustrate them.🐾 . . . . #koreanoldsaying #Sokdam #adage #saying #proverb #oldsaying #korenproverb #illustration #cartoon #cartoons #comic #comics #illustrator #drawing #ink #inkdrawing #art #pen #속담 #insecure #insecurity #humble #그림속담 #dragon #brook #용 (at Williamsburg, Brooklyn)
