YONSEI UNDERWOOD INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE Q & A 연세대 언더우드 국제대학 | Korean Diaries
There's this place called 독서실doksusil in Korea where you go to study quietly! If you saw Kdramas such as Eighteen or sky castle, you'd probably be familiar with these desks
In my exam periods, going there comprises most of my life. 🙄
Just a few sneak pics hehe
He Thought the Teacher Said “Number 9”…
In Korean, the word for “class duty” is “juban” (주번), and “number 9” is “guban” (9번). They sound very similar, especially when spoken aloud. That’s why the student mistakenly thought the teacher was calling him — and stepped forward. Unfortunately, the teacher thought he was the class duty and scolded him right away… Even though he did nothing wrong. This really happened in a Korean middle school in the 1980s. Strict, old-school days.
Chill day, beautiful sky :)
Sports day was held in June!
The weather was perfect and so was the atmosphere of excitement and joy.
Everyone was super excited to finally have fun after covid:)
