@bottlelounge_ has been on my list for a while and I finally got to visit 🥰 This zero-waste store & cafe has plenty to offer - from plant-based dishes featuring @paap_tempeh or @eat_wemeet “chicken” to homemade bakery items like this cookie and scone 😍 I also tried the homemade Soy Milk Tea and it is definitely one of the best I’ve ever tried! Finally made it to @ziz_21.2 🥰 This new hot place has been on my list for a while and thanks to @4gracetruth I could finally check it off 👏 It is not a vegan restaurant per se, but most of their menu items come in vegan version and they are quite tasty! We enjoyed the Rose Pasta and Raghu Tteokbokki which were very saucy, full of flavor and decent in size! If you are looking for a new flavor, or a place to take your non-vegan friends this is a good spot 😊 I also like that they have specials everyday for lunch - guess I gotta go back! #제품제공 What’s worse than the summer heat and humidity for our skin? 🥲 My skin has definitely been having a hard time due to the harsh weather and so the launch of a new @wishtrend Cica Care Ampoule came just in time 🥰 I was lucky enough to get to test it for the past month and here are my take aways: 1. This ampoule is not to be sued as a serum and is more as an add on to your editing routine, but it combines well with all my other products. 2. Using it night and day I can feel my skin feel less tight and it helped me take my redness quite well. It does not irritate at all. 3. The ampule has one of the highest concentrations of Centella Asiatica (a known soothing ingredient) so a little goes a long way! 4. All vegan and cruelty-free 💚 Would you try it? I couldn’t choose my favorite photo from Gongju but these two have to be at the top of the list 🥰 The view & the sky over the Gongsanseong Fortress is just perfect even on gloomy days 🌥 Now I wish I could go there again to see it when it’s sunny! The fortress was a focal point of the Baekje kingdom back when Gongju - then known as Ungjin (475~538) - was the capital, giving the fortress the name Ungjinseong. It is approximately 2,660m long and made up primarily of a stone wall, out of which most was rebuilt after the Joseon Dynasty. Last year I took you on a trip around the historical areas from the Baekje Kingdom @baekje_historic_areas which was one of the three main kingdoms in Korea between years 18 and 660 A.D. It’s been a while since I got to go on a trip and I definitely miss my little escapes from Seoul 🥲 Last year I got to visit several of the Baekje historical areas but still so many to go… There are three main areas - Buyeo, Iksan and Gongju, which were each the capital of the kingdom at one point during its time. One of my favorite things is #raw cheesecake but quite frankly I’m not the best at making it 😂🥲 This winter I attempted this Coconut Yogurt Cheesecake using @minimalistbaker s recipe and it was not too bad! I recently got these “tteokgalbi” style frozen patties through an event and they disappeared so fast!
