Korol of Amalythia's clan!
King of my heart, body, and soul
Redraw of the God-King Korol! I seriously do not draw them enough. I LOVE Korol... so bleeding much!!!
The King and Queen of the Order of Zugzwang. Queen Ferz protects King Korol herself, so the King generally gets to focus on other things. However, the Order has a pretty nasty secret... and it centers around the Bishop of the set, named Ladja. He pulls the strings behind the scenes to further his own agenda... even manipulating the King! He may not be the Grandmaster, but he is certainly no pawn.
Some Korol doodles! Yeehaw!

Oh wow, so you know how King Korol sounds, like, REALLY similar to King K. Rool? And how it makes sense, considering how they’re both kings and both crocodiles?
What would you say if I told you that it was completely coincidental?
Korol’s name is actually taken from the Russian name for the king chess piece “король” or “Korol”. The other names for the characters like Ladja, Ferz, Kon, and Slon all have the same connection, while Nimzo is named after a Russian-born chess master, “Аро́н Иса́евич Нимцо́вич” or “Aron Nimzowitsch”.
So while it’s an amusing coincidence that King Korol and King K. Rool have such similar names, that’s all it is.
