People have been talking alot about their experiences with kinning characters who have reincarnations and I'd like to share my experiences
As Zelda I was every version of her (as far as I'm aware) every reincarnation was me, the same, just a different body/time
As the Doctor I'd say it wasn't really reincarnation more like when my body died I just got a new one, no heavy personality changes or anything, every regeneration was me
As Korra it's a bit different, the avatar wasn't one soul being reincarnated, it was more like a power? That different souls attained it? I guess it was the avatar ability that was being reincarnated through different people. But sometimes the same soul would get reincarnated so along with being Korra I was also avatar Kyoshi. I wasn't any other avatar but we were all still connected
As Kikyo/Kagome, after I died as Kikyo I was reincarnated as Kagome, pretty simple, although I retained my personality from my life as Kikyo when I was Kagome
