Backstory:
Ever since she was little, she wanted to see other PKMN regions. Her parents were travelers and always came back with various souvenirs from their respective regions.
When she was 15, she traveled to Kalos with her parents. It was that moment that she fell in love with the region. It was breath-taking, simple and aesthetically pleasing, with a touch of elegance in the routine of its citizens. She dreamed that she would one day live there on her own.
As soon as their vacation was over and they were due to return home, Koharu begged her parents to stay in Kalos longer. Unfortunately, her pleading was rejected and they flew back home.
Back in their hometown, she daydreams and speaks to her three Pokemon about the adventures and romance(s) that Kalos could bring. She hopes to go back one day. In the present, she works as a waitress at a local Cafe, and when she receives her income. Koharu saves it in her little bank just for Kalos.
As soon she turns 22, she left without letting her parents know and flew to Kalos. Being integrated into Kalos’ culture has been rough for the first few months, the language barrier was the biggest challenge and Koharu couldn’t communicate with the local residents. Fortunately, the longer she stayed, the more comfortable she got. Maybe it was the influence of the trending “aesthetically pleasing” factor of Kalos because somewhere along the way-Koharu had become a little more superficial and judgemental of others.

Loves fashion. She spends a lot of money in Kalos’ boutiques.
Secrets:
Kalos has changed her. And it wasn’t for the better. Koharu’s insecurities and wanting to belong caused her to be more superficial and judgemental.
There are times Koharu wants to call her parents, but she is still upset at them and too stubborn to call them first.
