As she takes the final step onto the top floor of the Lavender Tower. Ko was sure that she would encounter more ghost-types. This time, she was ready- with her fingers on the sphere-shaped pokeball- but nothing eventful happened. Everything stayed stilled- there were no random encounters.
Ko knows that she does not have repel with her, heck, she didn’t think to go to the Pokemart to buy some before entering. Thankful for her sudden good luck, she prayed quietly for those who protected her before heading forward.
Chroma paused in her meditation; she could feel someone board the floor she was on. She wondered when the soul would make it to her, wanting to heal the Pokemon and trainer who came fourth. Chroma also wondered why the trainer came. Was it to pay respects? Train? Only the trainer could say.
“Hello?”, Ko called out to the vast space.
Shifting her weight to the other side, she didn’t know what to do. Maybe if she explained herself, it would help out the situation? Was there even a situation? Honestly, she couldn’t tell.
“Um…I wanted to pay my respects here. I also forgot to buy repels so that…I was encountering a lot of Ghost-types, but I managed to ascend the stairs without too much of a problem…I am thankful for that!” Ko bowed a ninety-degree bow before standing straight up again.
“The reason I am here is that I’ve heard a rumor of a tarot reader here. And if the tarot reader is much obliged. I would like a reading, if possible.”
Ah, a trainer had made it up the stairs and through the Ghost Pokemon.
“Come and stay a moment. Rest, heal.”
Chroma gestured to the area in front of herself.
She began to shuffle a deck, and spread out the cards. All of them were facedown, so no one knew what lurked beneath.
“Choose three.”
And just like that, Ko felt better. Hands on her pokballs, she knew that somehow they were healed to.
“Thank you.” Ko said sincerely, having a small gut feeling that she was the one who aided her to the top of the building.
Obeying, Ko walked forward and watched as the cards were shuffled and spread. The excitement in her eyes as she was ready. Closing her own eyes, she tried to tune into her own silence before choosing three.
Pointing to the one at the end, the front, and the middle. Ko held her breathe for an answer.
TShe followed the woman’s hands as she pointed. Chroma scooped the cards and laid them down flat in the order of her choosing.
“These are your cards: Past, Present, Future.”
“The Lovers in your Past means that whatever is happening, is in perfect union. You’re together, but still separate in identities. You’re not forging into one solid person, or concept. You’re still your own individual, but in harmony.”
She paused before continuing.
“The Magician in your Present is all about action, self-improvement, and creation. This card is of a leopard, which exudes confidence and independence. As you can see, the other suits of these cards are shown, which further states how this card is looking at it’s surroundings, but not in haste or danger. Instead, more of looking at it’s surroundings in conjunction with it’s self and inner workings.”
“Your last card, the Father of Pentacles in your Future means competent and steady. As you can see, this is another card looking at surroundings. While this card is in black and white, his antlers aren’t. This wasn’t a “let’s make this card look cool” move, but instead, it’s showing how although things can be black and white, there will always be color in our thoughts and actions. This card also is about completeness, being present, and being multifaceted. As if you’ve grown into the correct role you’re trying to assume.”
Ko breathed a sigh of relief hearing these words. A bright smile on her face. She was on the right path after all. Nervously fidgetting her hair, she sighed softly.
“I didn’t have the courage to say this...aloud but..I left home without telling my parents where I am going....Sometimes I feel like I am not in the right place and struggling to find my footing here in Kalos, the language barrier is especially rough. I fell in love with this city when my family traveled together here.. I am trying my best to fit in and making the best of it. I am more relieved that you told me I am going in the right direction.”
A blush tinted her cheeks a little bit. “I also hope to find love! It may be in my past, but I hope it will be in my future soon too!” A dreamy far off gaze clouded her eyes as she sighed. “Kalos is indeed for lovers and dreamers.!”

It had been a long drive to Lavender Town, but it was worth coming home. Chroma parked her RV near the PokeCenter. All the nurses knew her, and she had special permission to do so, especially since she would use her abilities to help the Pokemon. Parking, Chroma went inside, let the nurses know, then set foot to the Pokemon Tower.
She looked up at the Tower, feeling the presence of sadness, grief, and rest. It was an odd combination, but it was something she always associated home with. She went inside, said hello to a few of the desk clerks, then made her way up the tower. She went slowly, passing along the tombstones, gently touching them.
This was new territory for her. Traveling out of Kalos and ending up here in Lavender Town. Koharu nervously fumbled with her map; she was part very, very unsure of this place. Truth to be told, it creeped her out! However, she was here on a mission, so silently brushing away her nervousness. She took a deep breath and headed in.
Koharu’s mission was to pay her respects to the departed. However, she also caught rumors of a tarot reader here- and maybe if the reader had some spare time, Ko could request a reading? She was hopeful for that opportunity. Ascending the stairs, Ko was out of breath, and of course, encountering Ghost-types didn’t help her situation, but she was determined to preserve and find the tarot reader.
At a certain point, Chroma blessed an area, and waited within it. Anyone or Pokemon that entered the blessed area would be fully restored and safe from any Pokemon wanting to pick a fight. Sometimes, a soul can be restless; and other times, just mischievous. Nonetheless, the blessed area was protected and restoring.
She decided that anyone who ventured this far, may get one free reading. Any question to be answered. Not many ventured this far up, but it was still worth a shot to see who would come.

Hello Kalos!/ open
It had just been a few months since she integrated into Kalos’ culture. When she first arrived, it provided many obstacles for her to overcome; language is the most difficult. Now a few months in, she could speak very basic conservational French. There might be some phrases that she might not understand, but she is still learning.
In one swift motion, Koharu opened her small closet. Hues silently judging the neat rows of various clothing attire that she could wear. How was she feeling today? Dressy? No. Casual? Yes. Visualizing how the individual pieces would fit together, Koharu had her outfit for the day.
