Monotrophy are a French band on the S.K. Records label.  I’d never heard of the band or the label.  

Krautrock fans take heed.  “Feldpath” is the only released song, but I’m sure that any krautrock fan will love this (listen to the 5:42 mark!).  The band only has guitar and drums...

I checked my krautrock posts and have been enjoying a trip down memory lane:  Kosmischer Läufer and Gnoomes were revisiting highlights.

East German kraturock band Kosmischer Läufer released The Secret Cosmic Music of the East German Olympic Program 1972-1983 Volume 2. Early 1970's Martin Zeichnete decided to do  repetitive, motorik beats of this new music as a training aid for athletes.   Volume 2 comes with digital and vinyl option. Whether or not this is actually music from 1972-83 is up for debate, but whenever it was made, it sounds pretty cool.
