States and Stages(levels) of Consciousness: 4 main (ever-present) states: gross / subtle / causal / non-dual (big mind+big heart) ( all states can be accessed for free trough mediation or psychedelics and ARE accessed during sleep gross=waking subtle=dreaming causal+non-dual=dreamless state) + 4 main level: ego-centric / ethno-centric / world-centric / cosmo-centric (require work, practice and discipline) ---------------------------------- Both need to go together and be mastered. Nobody likes being at the forefront of anything. I don't! What you get when you are at the forefront is nothing but 'carpet burn' Pioneer: The guy with all the arrows in his back. Every time you push against the consciousness of the center of gravity of the culture in which you are in that pushing gives you, what i call, 'carpet burns'. It gives you an actual, feeling of being dragged across the floor naked. (I like the naked part but...)
