@kotsume KPSKDKKDF PREACH HANH!! 👏👏👏 thank you for the immensely needed TED talk, honestly it really does feel like there’s been regression with how well our content does in spite of our blogs growing over time. i’ll never understand the concept of not wanting to reblog content creators’ stuff when i’ve seen memes and shitposts that take seconds to post being reblogged much more??

YES!!!! i feel like gifmakers are taken for granted of how much time and effort they put into perfecting their own style, their unique posts, and just implementing the little things to make a gif feel aesthetically pleasing (i.e. frame rate, composition, even the color choices to emphasize the tone of the scene)

editing as a whole on tumblr becomes more of a drag as reblogs become less frequent, and the love for editing can only motivate someone for so long until they feel despondent from the lack of support and stop altogether
