We are happy to announce that we will be holding Shinkane Week from Saturday, January 10th to Saturday, January 17th of 2026.

As a retrospective, this year’s prompts came from our previous events:

Day One: Memories or Hopes (moments in the past or the future) Day Two: Confession or Lies Day Three: Domestic or Surprises Day Four: Leather or Lace (NSFW or Fluff) Day Five: Sharing a bed or Roommates Day Six: God or nature as providing protective or spiritual care Day Seven: Patience or Wrath Day Eight: Free Day

As with past years, prompts act more as guidelines and can be interpreted however you wish. You can do all the days, some of the days, or even just one.

The rules, for your reference:

Any medium (gifs, graphics, fanart, fanfic, AMVs, etc.) is welcome. However, AI has no place in this creative space.

We don’t condone stealing or reposting of other people’s works. If you are editing someone else’s art for your own, we advise asking the artist and crediting accordingly for their usage.

Please tag your content as “#shinkaneweek” (no spaces) to be reblogged. Our submit box is also open for those who have no Tumblr blogs.

You can post on Tumblr, Twitter, or both. We will reblog or retweet accordingly. We will post links to OP’s tweets on this blog to redirect to Twitter-only works.
