We are immensely excited to announce our project entitled Homophrosyne, an all-new Shinkane eZine.
As well as being a handy title, it’s also our theme. Homophrosyne references two people who can both think and/or feel alike; two peas in a pod, two birds of a feather, two people who are 100% ride or die. Odysseus to Penelope, Bonnie to Clyde. So, who better to use it for than Psycho-Pass’s own characters Shinya Kogami and Akane Tsuenmori?
The only requirement for this zine is that you figure out how this applies to the two of them. Do they get the other just the kind of coffee they like? Do they already know what the other will say about something without even asking? Do they have a conversation in just a brief look that makes Gino confounded? It’s all up to you.
We’re aiming to do a dual release for this zine, SFW and NSFW. Think of them as the daytime and nighttime in your own inspiration; what happens during the day can get spiced up at night.
You must be 18 or older to apply to the NSFW zine.
There are so many options, guys. We’re so excited to see what you decide to do.

I have a question (a little bit weird), but can Shynia and Akane be good parents ?
Hi, and no it's not weird at all! I think they can be good parents, however i happen to headcanon them as childfree - i just don't think Akane would want to bring a child to Sybil's world.
This was intended for the patience/wrath prompt (mostly for wrath? Honestly the first draft was very different), but then it grew a mind of its own, pulled me into watching silat showcases, and i’m also reminded that i wanted to make a 3-part series of kougami & akane sparring. Here is the first one.
As beautiful as the canon choreo and setting was, sparring in the middle of a temple ground would be so intense. I just think it would be nice for them to do a rematch. For old times’ sake. Kougami could see how far Akane had come in terms of hand to hand combat, and she could also see that she can hold her own pretty well against someone more experienced. His smirk in the movie said everything tbh.
Also i’m delusional but I am so convinced that if Akane had a larger frame she’d be able to lock kougami down… she almost had it…

What are you wearing?
For a long moment, Akane only stared at the text. Accounting for the time difference, it was almost midnight on the other side of the world. A drunk message was a first for him, and she might have been amused if she wasn’t in the middle of a meeting. At least, it was virtual, but her hologram was still being projected in front of other people.
“Don’t you agree, Tsunemori-san?” Chief Homura’s question startled her, and she waved away the speech bubble on her physical screen before answering.
When the discussion pivoted from her input, she typed back. My work clothes.
The slim possibility that he’d take the hint vanished, with the vibration of a reply. Same. Then, another text followed.
She made the mistake of looking.
The photo was slightly blurry, the bottle of whiskey and accompanying glass out of focus. Lounging in a chair in his hotel room, Kougami had taken it from the chest down; his black buttoned shirt was half open, frustratingly only to his solar plexus. His leather belt was unbuckled, the ends freely resting on either side of the opening of his jeans.
She bit her lip, heat rushing to her face. Idiot, what was he thinking?! Temper flaring, she sent her response. Well, you seem like you’re having a nice time.
It’d be better if you were here.
Oh. Her ire cooled, and she shifted in her seat. Even if he was drunk, the words were sweet. It also wasn’t helping that their messages had moved his picture up, and her gaze kept flitting to his askew zipper and the bulge underneath. She crossed her legs, her tights suddenly too restricting. Now, she had trouble paying attention to the rest of her meeting, thanks to him.
The last ten minutes were an ordeal; she was eager to log off. As soon as the screen closed, she grabbed her phone and snapped a picture. She settled on the preceding message and decided to send the whole thing to Kougami before her courage faltered.

To her mortification, there were no more texts. The rational explanation was that he fell asleep, after handling SAD business. But this kind of messaging was unfamiliar territory to her, and hers wasn’t nearly sexy enough. And she didn’t have the excuse of being drunk.
Once work was over, she collapsed onto her couch and groaned aloud. “Every time, I’m carried away by him.” As if he somehow heard, her phone rang with his caller ID. She somehow felt ashamed, picking up. “Hello?”
“Hey.” His voice was low, just like when they were lying beside each other in bed. “Sorry.”
She blinked. “For what, Shinya-san?”
“My whiskey-soaked mind, not registering you were still at work. I thought you were already done for the day. I didn’t intend to interrupt you, when you were on duty.”
“I only had virtual meetings and reports. But you sound like you just woke up. Is it rough over there?”
“Well, the challenges were expected.” He exhaled, and his next remark was husky. “Akane, I did appreciate the picture you sent. A lot.”
She was glad he couldn’t see her face. “Hold on. The first text asked what I was wearing, so you were trying something, weren’t you?”
A pause. “It’s the first time we’ve been apart since we started going out.”
“Oh, so you missed me.”
“Yeah.” The bed creaked, with the sound of him turning over. “I’m counting the days until the flight back to Japan.”
“So am I.” Akane softly said. Then, very carefully, she unzipped her skirt. “Do you want to know what I’m wearing now?”
Kougami laughed, caught off guard. “I thought you were in your work clothes, miss statutory Enforcer.”
“I meant, under them.” She rolled down her tights next, and loosened the buttons of her blouse. “Or would you prefer that I tell you?”
He audibly swallowed. “Tell me.”
“They’re old ones you haven’t seen before, not matching.” She was going to be self-conscious again. She concentrated on trailing her free fingers over the fabric. “The bra has navy blue lace, I bought it for the butterfly pattern, and the lining is a color between pink and nude. It’s soft, one of my favorites.”
“Comfortable, huh?” He sounded a little strained. There was a faint rustling in the background.
“Yes.” She was a little breathy too, giving into the temptation to touch her nipple. “So are my panties. I’ve worn these since my first month as an Inspector. Pale pink, lace…I wanted something cute.” A purchase to relieve the stress of her early days, and quickly became a regular feature of her wardrobe. She moved her hand down, sliding past the waistband.

“Very.” She gasped, and when he groaned, there was no resistance to the slide of her fingers. “Your turn. Are you wearing anything?”

She let out a tired laugh. “You can always send me more pictures. I didn’t even see your abs.”
“Yes, ma’am.”
And at the start of her lunch break, she received a text. A cursory glance showed that he kept his promise. Holding her phone close to her breast, she headed for the bathroom to send her reply.
