One of my greatest disappointments in Magi is the fact that two main female characters didn't have any interaction in spite of fact they had the same company. They could be on poorly terms but we hasn't any reasons to think so. And what is more worse Ohtaka said in some extra that they became friends. And... where is it?
I think Morgiana and Kougyoku could be really good friends (or maybe ship, hehe), and it could be very warm and comfortly.
Come take part in an explosion of creativity to celebrate Magi: the Labyrinth of Magic and Sinbad no Bouken! Read up on our event and start thinking about what stories you want to tell now. We can’t wait to see what adventures you have in store.

Princess Morgiana is the youngest princess in the Sea Kingdom, but also the strongest fighter there. For she has defeated all the best fighter, she longs for more opponents that is on her equal. For years, she always heard the sound of swords clanging, battle cries and all, from the nearest Kou Empire. She asked her brother Princess Masrur if she can go to that place. Princess Masrur says don’t, as they won’t know what they’ll do to mermaids like them.
But one day, the youngest princess of Kou Empire, the one with the most adventurous heart, princess Kougyoku come across near her sea, sailing. Reading her beloved series of fairytale Sinbad the Sailor, she too now inspired to sail across the sea. But the sea is not always gentle and beautiful, it could be harsh and devastating, not just in its form, but also its inhabitant. Princess Kougyoku was forced and mugged by local pirates! While thankfully she learned fencing and can defend herself, it is inevitable that against so many enemies, she was in danger.
Suddenly, a pink tail fin leapt across the ocean and arrived on the boat of Princess Kougyoku. With her red chain and trident, made with the strongest coral of the sea, Princess Morgiana fought back to back with the human princess. She slapped and even drowned some pirates as well! But since she isn’t supposed to land above the sea for so long, she soon had a hard time breathing, her life too was in danger, if it weren’t for Princess Kougyoku who stabbed the life of the pirate who was gonna stabbed Princess Morgiana. After the battle ended, she asked for her water magician to transport Princess Morgiana safely to underwater, their farewell was filled with sweat, blood of their enemies, and gratitude.
To Princess Morgiana, that was the best moment in her entire life! She then wished for the court mage, Titus, to transform her into human, to have two legs. She wants to battle that human princess, or at the very least, fought alongside her again. Titus granted her wish, in exchange of legs, he took her voice. He says that only by the act of true love directed for her.
The next morning, she was awake by the sandy beach of the sea, she looked at the legs she got. Fumbled and wobbled, she tried walking in it, she tried kicking some sands and rock with it, it was so fun for her!
And by an encounter of fate, Princess Kougyoku who was taking a stroll on the sea, met her. She was delighted to meet her saviour and comrade in hand , that they hugged each other the moment they met. Realizing she was naked, she took her to the castle and dressed her up. It felt weird wearing shoes, sandals, socks, etc, but it’s an interesting feeling for her, though she prefer barefooted most of the time. Princess Kougyoku asked for her name, since last time they hadn’t had the chance to introduce each other. But because she cannot talk nor write in human language, she can only mouthed parts of her name. Kougyoku called her Mor due to this, and she doesn’t mind it.
The new mysterious girl was interesting to even all of other inhabitant of the empire. She fought very well, and even rivaled the princess most of the time. She found out she loves dancing, especially the ones that makes her leg moves a lot. She also kept a diary, even if her handwriting was awful, princess Kougyoku happily taught her the language there.
One day, a faction of the empire soon found out that Mor was actually a mermaid. They decided that, maybe she could be useful, maybe she could be experimented by them, maybe they could held her hostage so they can raze the Sea Kingdom. But in doing so so suddenly, they might anger the princess and prince who loved her. So they decided to use Prince Kouha. The youngest prince who also seems loving sparring with Mor. They know he had been searching for marriage candidate so he can give grandchildren for his bedridden mother. They then used this excuse and recommended Mor to Prince Kouha, so that when they married each other, they can use the chance and kidnap her. Or maybe reveal her true form and make her as a despised ugly beast, lying to the empire so she can sneak in the human society.
Ka Koubun, the water magician who was with Mor and Princess Kougyoku for a long time, since they fought off pirates together, heard about this. Princess Kougyoku, who has developed a crush to Mor by this point was devastated, even more so when she heard her brother announced an engagement plan in the empire for Mor.
The next day, she challenged her brother for a duel. A duel for who gets to marry Mor, as she has fallen in love to her much longer than anyone else in the empire. Prince Kouha agreed, and then they held the duel in the courtyard.
Mor was confused and oblivious as to why they fought each other. But when one of the maids there said why, she blushed hard. She didn’t knew it. To be honest, she too has develop a crush on her. Even if they never kiss and all, hug yes, hold hands yes, but she thought thats what friends do here. During their fight, she heard princess Kougyoku’s declaration of love for Mor. Mor might not know, but what Princess Kougyoku doing right now is not only to marry her, but also to protect Mor’s life, Mor’s dignity and honor, and Mor’s family. Even if t means she cannot become a successor for the throne for not having a child or heir. She doesn’t mind it. She will protect her true love. Mor, even though she doesn’t know she was being protected by Princess Kougyoku, was touched at her heart by her action. She wanted so much to shout, to cheer and support her right now. Even if no voice might come out of her mouth. But miraculously, a voice did come out , she didn’t realize it at first and just keep shouting and screaming her words of support and cheers, and midway even confessed her love for princess Kougyoku as well. After screaming, it took her a second to realize, she was….. speaking just now, screaming and shouting no less. It felt refreshing even. But why???? Did her voice return???
She then realized. Titus said an act of true love will return her voice. But she always always thought, that act would ultimately be a kiss, a kiss by a true pair in love with each other. Because that’s what all princess is taught in their childhood right? In fairytale, all princess’ curse is cured by the kiss right? No, Titus never meant that. For an act of true love doesn’t always mean a kiss.
Princess Kougyoku, cheered by the one she loved and declared she loves her as well, miraculously won the fight. And right after the fight, she and Ka Koubun then revealed to Prince Kouha, how he was used by the faction that wad gonna abuse Mor. Enraged, he executed them right there right now.
After all the fight, they hugged each other, Mor revealed her true name, though she doesn’t mind being called Mor, as that was the first time someone gave her a nick name, both from a friend and now from someone she love. Months later, Princess Kougyoku sailed again to the sea, and with Ka Koubun’s help of magic, she went to the Sea Kingdom, asking for the permission to marry Princess Morgiana. Both kingdom’s agreed, and months later, from a big cruise , Princess Kougyoku in her wedding attire, sailed with a smaller boat to the middle of the sea. There, her bride Princess Morgiana in her own wedding attire awaits her. They exchanged rings in the middle of the sea, and kissed each other. Their love lasted for their whole life.
