A/N: So @earlgreymon did this writing challenge and I gave her two options. She did one (Taishiro + Rocking a baby, read it here) and I promised to write the other myself. And here it is! Koura + Infectious laughing.
It’s not really infectious laughing, I took some creativity here hehe. Also it’s Koura + Taichi (blame the Taishirora feels in the latest DA:2020 episode). Last but not least, it is written rather quickly, so I haven’t proofread.
Under read more. Happy readings!

“You two are no fun. You never laugh.”
They were both baffled by Taichi’s bold statement. They did laugh! Right? Maybe not as out loud and extra as he would when watching one of those stupid television shows, but they did laugh. Both Koushiro and Sora were more of the snickering kind of people, giggling and laughing inwardly and enjoying from a distance. However when Taichi had called them out for never laughing, Koushiro and Sora decided to join forces to show Taichi they did not never laugh.
With Taichi being gone to play a friendly game of soccer with some of his old teammates, Koushiro and Sora were seated on the couch. Koushiro’s laptop balancing on his lap so both he and Sora could properly see the screen. She scooched a little closer to him, nestling against him and letting her head rest on one of his shoulders. She couldn’t see his face, but she knew he was smiling at her gesture.
“So Sora-san,” Koushiro started. “I gathered this collection of comedy videos for us to watch. That way we may find out what makes us laugh and what not.” He proudly showed of the playlist he had created for them to watch. It was endearing how much effort he had put into this and she knew he had done it for both her and Taichi. It made Sora feel flustered as well as excited for the upcoming hour.
Half an hour in and they still had not laughed like they’d wanted or expected.
“Ouch, that looks painful.”
“Yeah it seems, rather, er-”
“Uncomfortable?” Sora finished for Koushiro. They both had their heads slightly tilted while staring at the screen. A boy had tried to do a trick on a skateboard, but it didn’t turn out well. “I really hope they called an ambulance for the poor guy,” Sora sighed.
“Yes, but it’s his own fault,” Koushiro bluntly stated pausing the video. “Do you see that? If he had only noticed it, he wouldn’t have fallen.” He was so quick to discover such a small detail Sora thought to herself.
Sora watched Koushiro shaking his head and she knew he was so done with all the stupidities. As was she herself and a long and frustrated sigh escaped her lips. “Koushiro-kun, why are we like this? We really are not good at laughing out loud or having fun.”
They grew quiet. It was a short lived silence broken by Koushiro closing his laptop and cautiously placing it on the coffee table in front of the couch. From the corner of her eyes, Sora watched him turning his head in her direction to say something, but no words came out. Instead he mimicked her position on the couch, looking as defeated as Sora felt and together they slumped further and further into the couch.
Suddenly the front door swung open, making both Koushiro and Sora sit up straight to find a fully drenched Taichi standing in front of them. Sora looked out of the window, her eyes met with a clear blue sky and no signs of clouds, rain or whatsoever. She raised an eyebrow.
“It’s not raining Taichi-san,” Koushiro spoke first putting her thoughts into words. He folded his arms across his chest. “What did you do?”
“I, er-” Taichi answered, followed by an inaudible stutter.
“A little louder Taichi-san, we can’t hear you.”
But again Taichi started mumbling as if he was a little boy who had done something stupid. Some things would never change, Sora thought to herself. She giggled, biting her lip to prevent herself from bursting into laughter. Her gaze shifted from Taichi to Koushiro who’s face was painted with a smirk. “Still inaudible Taichi-san.”
Taichi annoyingly sighed, standing there looking like a complete idiot.
“I TRIPPED OVER A BALL IN THE PARK AND FELL INTO THE FOUNTAIN.”
Only the sheer sight of him standing there soaking wet and the image of him falling into the fountain, having to walk all the way home looking like that made Sora crack. She turned her head towards Koushiro once more. Koushiro must have thought the same as he himself turned his head towards her to lock eyes. The smirk across his face changed into an almost mischievous smile before bursting into laughter. Sora gave in, not able to hold in any much longer seeing and hearing Koushiro infectiously laughing like that.
“Yeah yeah, have a laugh. I will just stand here waiting for you two to be done…”
They hadn’t shared a laugh like that in a really long time. Maybe Taichi was right, they were no fun. But laughing they did.
