Can I study your art style?

Οf course! You don't need permission to Study anything. I'm honoured you think my style is study-worthy. Extra advice you didn't ask for: Be sure to temper any artstyle studies with real life/photo studies and observation. I can only speak from experience but the things I'm the most satisfied about in my art are the things that are based on irl observation, whereas focusing too much on style can make you miss what made it work in the first place.

So for the background requirement, does it has be fully rendered?

"Fully Rendered" can mean different things depending on the style in question, but yes a fully rendered background as one of the examples is preferred. If you only have examples with loose backgrounds in terms of lines or color, it's not the end of the world! An example is still better than no example at all. ^^
