I feel like it’s a chicken or the egg situation when it comes to characters or otherwise things with a theme/aesthetic of playing cards lol. More specifically: am I drawn to them these days bc of heartslabyul, or do I like heartslabyul partially bc i already liked the theme (there’s more to liking heartslabyul but we don’t have time to get into that right now stay on topic!!!)

like I already always favorited Alice in wonderland , and that did definitely heighten after heartslabyul attachment formed lol. And I think the same applies for how I passively have always liked a magician’s vibe lolol and that tends to go with playing cards, whether or not said magician actually has any cards… (also capes and cloaks. But this isn’t about that right now ✋)

I was just thinking about how I will see a character with the theme and go OOOH HEARTSLABYUL I LIVE HERE NOW lol. Lyney in genshin is one of my faves to play as, and even tho I don’t play marvel rivals often except on an occasion to play with my partner, I had a lot of fun playing gambit….

#ALSO. red black white is a pleasing color scheme 🙂‍↕️#Literally in genshin I hated playing bow characters until I got lyney #(I think I was trying for yoimiya before or maybe she wasn’t summonable at the time)#(Either way I didn’t get her 💔)#Anywho got a lot better with the bows once he entered my roster and he’s one of my best units and so fun to play lol #And gambit I only played once for a while and in the practice range lmao but I was having fun just running around #Flinging cards around and learning how he moves #Also re: the cape thing. Eridan.#Like another situation of I think I already liked them but when i chose to cosplay Eridan it def made an Impact #Okay whatever I don’t think I had a point here I am simply making a diary entry #About magicians and magician adjacent characters and themes….#falls asleep
