Top Priority
@cherieann-2001 seriously, I am so sorry for how long it took me to get this request done. but its here! possibly a little sadder than what you were wanting but it just flowed too good to change it while I wrote it.
anyway
Here’s a Kozik imagine! I’m sorry if its not up to usual standards, I haven’t been watching SOA as much as I usually did but I did go back and watch a couple episodes to make sure I was comfortable with the characters and the setting so, I tried!
let me know what you guys think! thank you for reading :)
These past few months being married to Kozik were interesting to say the least. He wasn’t always there but when he was, he made the waits worthwhile.
Which is how you were currently staring at a pregnancy test with two little pink lines.
Holy shit.
You continue to sit on his bed in the club house with Tara standing outside the door, the music from the speakers of the SAMCRO party blaring through the door.
“(Y/N)? You ok?” Tara called through the door, knocking on it loud enough to break you out of your trance. You stumble over to the door and open it, showing Tara the stick. “Oh my god!” Tara breathed out.
“Yeah.” You whispered back. Your gaze is vacant, trying to think of how this is all going to work, a baby with Kozik constantly splitting his time between Tacoma, you, and Samcro.
“Oh, I know that look. Get out of your head. Talk to him before you spin down that train of thought, ok?” Tara placed her hands on either side of your head and shook lightly. You nodded and cleared your throat slightly, looking up into her eyes.
“Where is he?” Your voice is quiet but Tara smiles in encouragement.
“At the bar, last time I checked.” Tara nodded towards the main section of the clubhouse while you tucked the little stick into your back pocket. You wipe your hands down your jeans and head out into the crowd.
You nod at the brothers you see, none of them paying too much attention other than to the half-naked girls in their lap.
Is this how Tacoma is? Maybe that’s why he won’t take me. It’s easier to hide the ol’ ball and chain if I’m not there with him.
You shook yourself of your bad thoughts. Kozik isn’t like that. He’s more likely to drop out of Samcro than cheat on you.
Right?
Your eyes finally flicker to the bar counter to see Kozik talking with Juice and a crow eater pushing herself against him.
Are you KIDDING me?
Your jaw dropped as the music seemed to die down and everyone looked back at you as you heard your voice echo back to you.
“Hey baby!” Kozik looked so happy, completely ignoring the look on your face.
“Don’t fucking ‘hey baby’ me.” You snap while his eyebrows pull together. “And you!” The crow eater’s eyes widen, seeing the state you are in. “What? You don’t see the fuckin ring on his finger? Or did you miss a Samcro wedding somehow?” You stalk towards her as she holds her hands up in surrender and steps back from Kozik.
“Hey—” Kozik stood up from his chair while you move back from him.
“Honestly, what the hell is wrong with you crow eaters? If they’re taken, stop the fucking pursuit!” You get up in the girl’s face, “it’s not that hard!”
“(Y/N)—” Tara started behind you.
“Oh, don’t even start with me. You wanna act chill with the cheating? That’s fine, that’s your relationship, but I never said this was open.” You turned and pointed to Herman as his hands raised automatically. “You knew when you signed up with this, with me, it would be me and only me. The fuck is wrong with you? Jesus Christ!”
“Hey!” The croweater yelled as you shoved your shoulder into hers in passing. You rolled your eyes as you made your way out of the clubhouse and to the swing set across the parking lot. As you sat down, you could feel your body deflate from the energy just expended.
“What the hell was that, (Y/N)?” Kozik came out with his hands held up.
“Why haven’t you ever taken me to Tacoma?” You answer back, your voice softer than it was inside.
“What?”
“I feel like a secret from your main life. Koz, I just, you’ve never taken me there, never even mentioned it.”
“You want me to take you to Tacoma? I’ll take you to Tacoma. Still not making sense as to why you screamed all that shit back there.” Kozik leaned against the fence in front of you crossing his arms and legs in front of him.
“You split your time between me, Tacoma, and Samcro. Honestly, I feel like I’m the last priority sometimes and that can’t be it anymore!” You sighed and ran your fingers through your hair, letting out a frustrated noise.
“What are you talking about?” Kozik finally burst, but even his yelling just sounded defeated whenever it was directed towards you.
“I’m pregnant,” you whispered as his face went blank. “We are bringing a baby into this family and that has got to be your top priority.”
“When did you find out?” Kozik asked. You pulled out the test and handed it to him.
“I’m sorry for…earlier.” You whispered.
“I get it.” He stared at the test in his hands with a small smile on his face.
“We will not take back seat to your clubs, alright?” You stood up and walked over to him, placing a hand on his cheek.
“No, of course not. I’ll figure it out.” He said, eyes linking up with yours.
“You got about 8 months.”
“Holy shit.” He whispered.
“Holy shit is right.” You giggled back, feeling the tension slide away.
