Calling all Shawols

So I’m pretty new to SHINee (yeah I know I’m hella late). I heard all their most popular songs and I think they’re good but I can’t call myself a Shawol yet.

But then I found out what Kings of Fanservice meant when I saw Internet Wars. Someone in the comments of that video also recommended Key’s Born to Shine and.....damn. This kind of confident stuff is basically nonexistent in 3rd gen Kpop (which is what I’ve been mainly listening to). I read that SHINee’s popular for this kind of super bold performance stuff, so pleaseeee leave suggestions of songs/covers from SHINee (or other groups) that have this super daring feel to it. I now crave this super edgy and wild Kpop and I have no idea where to go from here.

B.A.P's Jongup discusses the group's future in light of recent events. This weekend it was announced by B.A.P's agency, T.S. Entertainment, that the group's members who remained under the agency have chosen not to renew their contracts. In a recent exclusive phone interview with New1 Jongup said that the group members 'can't be together currently as each is in a different situation and has different plans' but he expressed his belief that they can reunite as a group again in the future. Jongup will be promoting as a solo artist in the meantime. He clarified that the leaving of TS Entertainment and the individual activities of each member did not indicate disbandment and that the members would be supporting each other in their activities. Jongup also added that it was upsetting that B.A.P, as a group couldn't promote as much as they wanted to. Hopefully B.A.P will be able to reunite in the future - and hopefully sooner rather than later!

Former 2NE1 members showed support for Dara!

Former 2NE1 members showed their support for Dara as she announced her position as MC for MBC Every1's 'Video Star'. Many stars including Dara's brother Thunder took to the net to send special congratulatory messages. Many celebrities included members of iKON, WINNER, Jang Ki Yong, DinDin, Eunhyuk, and her former groupmates CL, Park Bom, and Minzy.

EXO's Kai is Trending Around the World for His Birthday

EXO's Kai's fans have given the artist an nice little presence in the form of a small global spotlight as many fans have popularized the use of hashtags related to Kai's birthday. Despite it no longer being Kai's 26th birthday as it is early in the morning in Korea, (January 14th is his birthday and it is now the 15th) fans around the world are still celebrating. In celebration of his birthday fans are using hashtags - #HappyBearDayKai, #HappyKaiDay, #KimJongIn - in posts about Kai and are doing so at such a rate that the hashtags are trending around the world. Congratulations on gaining some more international fame and on celebrating your 26th birthday, Kai!
